Summary: I've had this laptop for about 5 days now. I'm still getting used to it, but here are my thoughts so far. Pros: good size screen lightweight feels nice quiet Cons: touchpad is horrendous. no left click or right click buttons which makes things much more difficult. i blame apple for this disastrous concept. touchpad is also responding very poorly. scrolling is very very very difficult. not sure yet if it's something i'm doing or not. screen is not incredible.
Summary: I really like this laptop. I'd like it more if it was quad core but it does fine by me. I primarily use it as a desktop with an external monitor (Plugable UD-3900 USB 3.0 thingy). I've had it almost two months now and quite enjoy it. It can be a bit hard to open due to the thinness but that's not really a big deal.
Summary: I've had this laptop for a year now. I use my laptop for work, studies, and browsing. I constantly receive positive comments about this laptop. People love how thin it is. This laptop is perfect for my job because I am constantly lugging it around and when I take it out of my bag I don't just sit at my desk with it all day. Because it is light, I feel less scared that I am going to drop it and I don't feel like I am carrying a brick like my old laptop was.
Summary: Pros: -It's light. Super light. People are jealous. Even the power supply is light. -The screen is amazingly bright. (too bright often!) -Most hardware worked out of the box under Fedora Linux, including sleep/hibernate functions. -Wonderful touchpad using windows. Cons: -Keyboard key travel is too short and takes some getting used to. As a heavy typist, I suspect I'll end up beating this keyboard to an early death, but time will tell.
Summary: Needs more hard drive space. After the OS and pre-loaded software, it only has about 60 gb. So a little more space would have been nice.
Pros: This is a great laptop. I got this laptop for my wife and she loves the fact that it's so light. The load up speed is great. I like the fact that it's a very powerful system. I think the 8gb of ram helps a lot but wow - even after having several start up programs it's such a dramatic improvement to our old laptop.
Cons: Glitchy mouse pad. I don't know why but I read this already on other websites and bought it anyways but the mouse pad is glitchy. Sometimes it will show up and sometimes it won't. It will also move too much or just jump from one end to the other. We had to use an external mouse to use it but it wasn't a problem since we prefer it anyways.
Summary: Works great, is a sweet, sleek laptop. I agree with other reviewers that the lid can be hard to open, and the display hard to see if you don't have it at the right angle, but am still happy with it overall!
Pros: Very lightweight for a 15" screen. 1600x900 resolution is the right pitch for this size screen to make text legible. Excellent battery life, 6+ hours of heavy use. Screen is very bright. Blazingly fast with the built-in SSD and core-i7. Thin, thin, thin. Ethernet dongle included. USB 3.0 and built-in SDHC reader--excellent!
Cons: The display is slightly disappointing by Samsung standards. Although it is phenomenally bright, it does suffer from a fairly limited viewing angle compared to high-end LCD monitors. Tiin construction requires dongle for wired network of video output. Video dongle is not included. Of course it costs to buy lightweight and fast. Not inexpensive
Summary: I have been using this one for a couple of month now and i am a heavy user. I'm on it day and night and not for chatting, i run heavy Access Queries and programs. Here are my findings: Pros: - Very light and attractive. It catches attention once i get it out of my laptop bag. (That's also worth a lot of money :) ) - Boots very fast and wakes up from sleep in a blink of an eye and i enjoy that every time i switch it on.
Summary: I must say that i love everything about this notebook. I saw in some reviews people complaining about the screen. I was not expecting a super retina display or anything like it, so for me this is a super fast, super nice ultrabook. Now, the big and only cons i found is the pad, a real pain in the ass. But to say the true i don't care, i just plug in a mouse and problem solved....
