Summary: I bought this laptop for long distance travel. It is very lightweight. but its keyboard drives me crazy. the caret always jump to other place, and the letters are inserted in the wrong place. the keyboard tapping range is too short, the tapping experience is not good at all.
Summary: Terrible screen. Old school. Not clear, light appears to seep from the screen as someone else mentioned. Would rate it even less but I really like everything else about it. The screen will be a deal breaker for most, I think. I would not recommend this.
Summary: I've researched a lot of different lightweight laptops with good battery life and performance, and my conclusion is your best option is Apple MacBook Air MD761LL/A 13.3-Inch Laptop (NEWEST VERSION) . In fact, it's roughly the same price as the Samsung Series 9 but it has none of its shortcomings and is basically the most perfect laptop on the market. The biggest problem with the Samsung is the screen and the keyboard.
Summary: Got this laptop with the win7 several months ago. Didn't yet get a chance to do a lot of work on it as it's a backup to my desktop. But lately it's been heating up like crazy. Had to put it in the refrigerator. Must say I'm surprised, as my husband has one of the earlier models of the Samsung Series 9 for over a year as his main computer and it doesn't heat up like this. Not even close. I'd welcome Samsung comment on this.
Summary: Hello people, i bought this Ultrabook and it is really beautiful, thin, fast, nice to use and everything. BUT, i found out two problems 1- It gets hot when connected into the energy, so its not very confortable to use on your lap 2- Also, when connected into energy, i hear static sound in my BOSE headphone (that is working fine). I think its because the audio output is near the energy path, but it shouldn't happen anyway and is ruining my experiencie with it.
Love it, but screen died after 8 months and customer service was slow
6 August 2013
Summary: Absolutely fantastic machine, as others have noted. Touchpad is fantastic. Great battery life. Way cooler looking than Mac Air, though I've seen a gorgeous white Zen book. However, after 8 months, colors suddenly went wacky, and this is when I discovered that Samsung service is not amazing. They use UPS ground for everything. No matter how many supervisors you ask to speak to, it's going to take 3-5 days for your machine to even get to them (Texas).
Good laptop overall but keyboard broke after 10 months
Francisco Cheng, Amazon

Summary: Really light and thin. Battery life is great. Looks very sleek too. Hate the keyboard at times. Some of the keys feel weird sometimes and aren't responsive. After 10 months, the keyboard was typing by itself. When I rebooted it, it completely stopped working. Now I have to find a way to package it and mail it to Texas to repair, not to mention that Samsung makes me pay to ship it. They better fix this for free. Will post updates later.
Summary: Before I bought this laptop from amazon, I researched about this laptop in Korean website and blogs. The review was pretty good. People said this laptop provides the best display angles. While comparing Samsung Series 9 NP900X4C-A01US model and same spec Korean model (NT900X4C-A58), I found out NP900X4C-A01US has 340 nit brightness, while same spec Korean model has 400 nit brightness. I really didnt think there are no differences between NT900X4C-A58 and NP900X4C-A01US.
