Summary: The laptop worked great for a few days until the keyboard started malfunctioning. Every time I would type 'e' it would actually enter 'eg' and when I typed 'g' it would enter 'eg'. This same issue happened for about 5 or 6 keys after 3 days of using the laptop with no issues. I tried changing my language settings thinking that the keyboard layout was changed but no luck.
Summary: On the surface this seems like a great computer with a great price. The "great price" should have been the clue something was amiss. First of all it comes with Windows 8 as I had missed the deadline for getting Windows 7. It has been a real challenge to say the least. Biggest problem I am having is this computer can not seem to sustain its internet connection. All kinds of tricks have been tried by the best of them out there to no avail.
Summary: The computer was working fine for the first two weeks and then all of a sudden I went to turn it on and nothing happened. When I press the power button, the little blue light turns on and that's it. Nothing else happens (and yes I did make sure the battery wasn't dead). This is something that should not happen with a near $2,000 laptop.
Summary: A thin vertical line appeared down the right side of the screen within hours after first use. Also, the hinges were loose so the screen often fell forward without being touched. Product was returned. Extremely disappointed with this purchase.
Summary: The computer blue screened within 5 minutes of being on! the Wifi is terrible!! I did speed test with the Samsung and did it with a 5 year old dell. . . . the Samsung barely had .49 download and only 1.4 up.... the dinosaur (old Dell) was significantly higher. WAY to much money for a computer of this price. I like that it is quiet and cool sitting on my lap but it is going back just waiting for info from the seller. VERY disappointed.
Summary: The product is fairly good, as samsung is a fairly good vendor and all that. However, keep in mind that you can never clean the keyboard ever, because many of the keys, such as the spacebar, are not "user servicable." If a grain of sand (or whatever) gets under the spacebar, you better be ready to wait 4-6 weeks and have postage ready.
Summary: I saw this in a big box store, so I played around with for a while. This would be a near perfect machine, but the screen is awful Pros: -Very thin & light. Highly portable. -Good keyboard -Decent track pad Cons: *My main con is the screen, so I'll break it down. -The vertical viewing angle is abysmal, everything washes out with a few degrees of shift. Even looking straight on, the quality is unacceptable, the resolution and brightness do not matter.
Great machine - but big wifi problems on Windows 8!

Summary: The Intel centrino advanced-n wifi drivers do not work properly. You have to uninstall the device entirely and delete the drivers, and allow it to install an old set of drivers via windows, automatically, for it to work properly. I'm now using the 14.8 rather than 15.0 version of the driver -- and windows, not Intel. If you do not know this, it's a nightmare. It was a nightmare.
Summary: I did read all reviews on Amazon before making the purchase. I know the screen and trackpad is awful, and I thought I could live with it until now i have it on my hand and found out that this is THAT BAD I am by no means a photographer; I am a student. I've used many brands laptops, Apple, HP, Toshiba, and Lenovo.
85% Awesome - 15% enough to dock it 1 star *UPDATED* - Now 2 stars, bad wifi performance...

Summary: No joke, I have bought and returned 3 laptops in the last 3 weeks. Getting sick and tired of it, but happy that the Samsung Series 9 A03 is going to work out just fine. I'm coming from a 17" Macbook Pro, the last version ever made (i.e. Sandy Bridge, Thunderbolt, etc.). Overall I love this laptop. It's the thinnest 17" on the market with a gorgeous 1900x1200 display.Unfortunately, it's so heavy to lug around.
