The single worst laptop experience in 15 years

Summary: I'm actually a Sr. Tech Consultant that can build computers from scratch with parts, so I need very little support - I've had many laptops over the years, and getting this laptop was the single biggest laptop mistake I ever made. It was just terrible. I had lots of strange issues with it. The hard drive crashed twice. Windows 8 never quite fully worked well on it (caused some of the function keys to not work).
Without a doubt the worst experience with a laptop... ever...

Summary: Important to note that Samsung has the worst warranty process I've ever experienced, and as a result, I'll never purchase their laptops again. I've had Toshibas, Dells, IBMs, etc. I'm a high-end power user (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.) and I'm also extremely tech-savvy when it comes to fixing electronics. I purchased this laptop and the drive crashed after 2 months. I had to send the laptop to their Texas facility (it took 3 weeks for the turnaround)...
Summary: The laptop itself is fine - Samsung makes gorgeous displays of every size, from smart phones to wall sized televisions. This is no exception. However the screen broke on mine due to an accident, and it has been impossible to find anywhere to repair it. The usual third party screen repair places cannot seem to repair this screen, and Samsung itself farms out the repairs to a third party company that won't return my call. This has been a $1500 boat anchor for weeks now.
Summary: Well to start off I had been wanting a computer that was pretty portable yet could do some gaming. I probably watched computer videos and reviews for 5 hours a day, for 2 weeks. I finally decided on this because it had such good reviews. I received it from amazon and at first was blown away it could run all my games, and looked awesome. Although after the first day's use, the subwoofer went out. I sent it back to amazon and got a replacement 2 days later.
Summary: I agree with some reviewers. The laptop looks nice with great features but unfortunately it has failed to restart very shortly. It is really nightmare, within just 6 weeks of purchase the operating system has failed numerous times" YOUR COMPUTER WAS UNABLE TO START". I had to use the recovery disc several times. Windows claims that it is a hardware problem but BestBuy claims it is a software problem.

Summary: Quatre mois de grand n'importe quoi pour finir par être remboursé suite à l'achat de cet ordinateur neuf arrivé en panne ! Au déballage, il ne fonctionnait pas correctement (le premier démarrage avait planté, le lecteur de DVD ne fonctionnait pas, le disque dur donnait des signes de faiblesse...) Après le premier retour du SAV, non seulement il ne fonctionnait pas plus qu'avant (exactement les mêmes problèmes) mais en plus, il avait des traces de démontage partout.
