Summary: + latest configuration + cheaper compare to other + fast start up time + decent battery time - at least 4 hours while working + separate number keys are handy + speakers are good - cursor position moves to different location on the screen while typing. It could be because palm area below thumb touches the tracking pad. I would keep the tracking pad a right most side of the laptop, below number keys.
Summary: It is absolutely awesome. I completely love it. Fast, beautiful, and FAST. What would I change: It has 8GB ram and a chipset that supports 16, but 4GB of the RAM is integrated into the motherboard and not upgradeable. So 12 is the max. Lame. It is a mild pain to swap the hdd, and one I did, it has always been a creaky and loud sounding laptop. The plastic just seems cheap on that bottom plate. Anyway, I would buy it over again in an instant.
A great laptop..just watch out for the version you choose!

Summary: I bought this laptop a month ago. It's great... but. If you go for it, don't get the Best Buy version. Go for the one with the retro lighted keyboard. Absolutely a must with those black keys!! Especially when light goes away... The wifi card is s... I had to change it otherwise I would have gone mad. The Broadcom that comes with is fine if you have your router 10cm from the laptop. Weird cheap choice from Samsung! I come from a LG S1 Dual which was amazing.
Brilliant laptop, great performance, overall very pleased

Summary: I bought this laptop for college and to provide me with everything that I might want out of a single computer for four years, and so far it has not disappointed. The best thing by far is the screen. It's rarer 1600x900 screen is surprisingly nice, and the screen has a nice dull matte to it, which means that the colors are still vivid, but it doesn't hurt your eyes to look at it for a long time. Overall performance is pretty damn good.
Summary: Very nice and lightweight design. Very performing PC too. 2 drawbacks however: 1. The screen is matte; I thought it was glossy. 2. It's very hrard to get used to the mousepad. I ended up with a new, small-sized mouse.
Summary: I purchased one of these as a gift to myself and replacement for a 2006 Macbook that finally gave up the ghost last year. I was leery of the Windows 8 OS but the fact that it had a dedicated NVidia graphics card, 8 GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive made it look like a pretty good deal. After all, I can always downgrade the OS if I want. So far I haven't been disappointed (much).
Great for non-techy people who want a strong laptop

Summary: I bought this laptop for my wife back in early 2012. The laptop I was looking for had to be thin, light, and sleek looking... but it also had to be a strong laptop, with big hard drive capacity, and a dvd drive. Pretty hard combination to find back in early 2012. The new ultra books would have been great, but they seriously lacked hard drive capacity. I know we could always bring external HD's but really, sometimes it's just a hassle.
