Summary: I am very dissapointed with my purchase. It seems that this is a typical problem for this model. The warrany was only for the first 6 months and therefore I will have to buy a new laptop. This time I will go for Lenovo or Asus. I won't buy anything else from Samsung in my life... Update: after calling the customer service they have offered to repair the laptop for free.
Summary: The spacebar constantly got stuck on this unit. I would be taking away with out looking and the when I would glance and the page, I had one extremly long run-on sentence. Stay away. Hopefully newer models have been fixed.
Summary: This laptop was great ...at first.....white spot on screen after 4 months of use. Also imprint of keys is permenantly on screen. After having this laptop 4 months I was ready to replace it (I replace my laptop once a year) Now having the screen/keyboard issues only progress I will be having to purchase a new laptop earlier than anticipated. I will not be buying another Samsung.
Summary: Maybe by laptop was a lemon, that can happen, and it has, to me. My past two computers were Lenovos. Had to send one in twice. Painless and FREE! Samsung customer service is the polar opposite. First they assumed that I had done something to cause the problem. Next I was supposed to spend time trying to fix it. Then I have to buy packaging materials to send it to a third partry for service.... Yeah, right. Nice phones. Computers? My first one had problems.
Summary: Not a fast computer, and very heavy. the battery did not last 7 ours never! max 4 ours of light use, to get the 1500 times charges of the battery, the computer limit the max charge to 80%, so the duration is less than expected, the aluminum cover is like a coke can, came already damagged in the box an is very easy to scrach, the screen is poor because it has to be seen perfectly direct or your image is not clear, the space bar only works if is pressed in the center, the...
Summary: I really wanted to like this laptop, very good price for what you get. It looks great, has very decent specs, but sadly it has major problems. The system crashes frequently when trying to run videos, iTunes is unusable on this machine for music too, and as other users reported, and the trackpad is crapy. I asked to return for a replacement and Tiger Direct replyed to me that they only did refunds for this machine.
Summary: Bought this laptop for my father, The machine was good until the Hard disk failed within 2 weeks. But wait thats not the worst part; Enter Samsung tech support. My father is out of a laptop for almost 2 weeks now. And the Samsung guys cant even say when it will be fixed. I bought it to save on the international call charges and so my father can work. So far a disaster, None of the things can be done. Wish Samsung would just return my money.
Avoid this Series of laptops like the plague- It will eat your sanity!

Summary: I bought the high spec version of this machine (twice) and it's been an utter nightmare from day one. The build and looks are great, it has a really premium feel about it, as other people have stated, but if you want it to actually do anything other than look nice you're in for lifetime of frustration my friend.
Summary: I purchased this from another merchant well over a year ago and it has been a living hell. Fortunately I eventually go them to refund me and I have purchased an Asus Zenbook which I am over the moon with. The Samsung computer, right from the moment I got it, was disappointing. For what I paid I expected it to be much faster.
Summary: I urge those looking to buy a new laptop, please do NOT buy SAMSUNG laptops! I have had 3 laptops from SAMSUNG and they have been terrible! The laptop has good hardware specifications but don't be fooled! SAMSUNG are NOT what they use to be! Their new laptops models for 2012/2013 are terrible. SAMSUNG where great with support back 3 years ago and now they have become nothing but worse like foreign call centres.
