Summary: I bought this laptop about a year ago and it worked great for about the first 6 months. Then it started acting up. The screen would flicker bright and dim every couple seconds. It wouldn't do it all the time, but every once in a while. Then it got more consistent. I couldn't figure out why it was doing it till tonight. It appears that it is flickering because it gets power and then the power gets cut off, then it gets power again.
Summary: My work requires me to use programs that aren't native in OSX so I used bootcamp to run windows 7. After upgrading to the latest drivers in bootcamp (on my macbook) my audio no longer worked, my battery life was poor, and I was generally unhappy with the performance. I was unable to roll back without re-installing the OS. I looked around online for a PC alternative and found this. I think the reviews from people have already pointed out the qualities of this laptop.
Summary: I tend to go through laptops and upgrade technology fairly quickly. This machine is hands down one of the best laptops I've ever had. Its fast, its light for the performance specs, it has a real graphics card that runs Steam games great- even over the HDMI out to a tv without any goofy lag. Backlit keyboard- and did I mention the hyperthreaded 4-core i7 is fast? It will run itself up to 3.2Ghz in high perf power mode under heavy load.
A great laptop..just watch out for the version you choose!

Summary: I bought this laptop a month ago. It's great... but. If you go for it, don't get the Best Buy version. Go for the one with the retro lighted keyboard. Absolutely a must with those black keys!! Especially when light goes away... The wifi card is s... I had to change it otherwise I would have gone mad. The Broadcom that comes with is fine if you have your router 10cm from the laptop. Weird cheap choice from Samsung! I come from a LG S1 Dual which was amazing.
Summary: This laptop has exceeded my expectations, with its looks and performance. The price was also great at the time. Its been almost a year and this laptop is still going strong just like the first day. Has not slowed, crashed... nothing, just running beautifully. My advice, if you need a machine that will run nearly anything you throw at it, and that will last, get this one (; Oh also, the battery is very long lasting and doesn't seem to be loosing capacity too quickly,...
Brilliant laptop, great performance, overall very pleased

Summary: I bought this laptop for college and to provide me with everything that I might want out of a single computer for four years, and so far it has not disappointed. The best thing by far is the screen. It's rarer 1600x900 screen is surprisingly nice, and the screen has a nice dull matte to it, which means that the colors are still vivid, but it doesn't hurt your eyes to look at it for a long time. Overall performance is pretty damn good.
Good Specs, Bad Customer Support, Bad Battery Life, Bad Design

Summary: Very nice and lightweight design. Very performing PC too. 2 drawbacks however: 1. The screen is matte; I thought it was glossy. 2. It's very hrard to get used to the mousepad. I ended up with a new, small-sized mouse.
Summary: This thing is an absolute beast when it comes to value/specs. You really do get everything you pay for and more. However, the trackpad is not so great, as mentioned in other reviews. Another point to note: when I received the computer the battery would not charge at all. This is a pretty easy fix.
