Summary: i got this laptop refurbished from secondipity for a great price. this is a really solid laptop - backlit keyboard, windows 7 - basically everything i wanted in a laptop for school/work. it is fast enough for my needs - only thing that drives me nuts is the touchpad for the mouse.. but i purchased a wireless mouse which should bypass that problem. other than that- it's a great laptop!!
Summary: I like the thin HD screen with anti-glare / non-gloss. I can use it in well lit rooms without images disappear under reflection of everything. Resolution is higher than most 15.6" screens and lowers well for easier viewing. Outputs easily to HDMI without any adjustments required, unlike VGA outputs. Light sensor automatically adjust screen brightness to reduce eye strain. Download the control softwares from Samsung website for them to function.
Summary: Got mine from amazon wearhouse. Nicely priced. It comes with 2 licenses for windows 7. The original one and a refurbished one. So you technically get 2 windowses with it. Laptop was brand new, no blemishes. Amazon took the time to reformat the hard drive and didn't bother to install the crapware that these usually come with. Thus windows was pristine.
Summary: After buying a couple of Windows 8 laptops that I returned, I started looking online for a Windows 7 laptop. I'm not ready to relearn the Windows operating system. I like matte screens too and you can't find them in the stores anymore. My search led me to this Samsung Series 7 14" laptop. I was afraid I might not like the black and white keyboard when I saw a picture of it, but I love it. It's the best laptop keyboard I have ever used.
Summary: I must say this is a very Interesting Laptop. It's light weight, thin and compact. I got mine for a Steel of only $400 at a local shop. I do Have Pros, Cons and Experience Index. Pros: Thin and Attractive Aluminum Body Shell, Web Cam, 2nd Generation Intel i5 Processor Back-lit Keyboard, 20 Second Boot Time, Slot DVD Burner Drive, Radeon HD Graphics, Instead of Window's Pathetic HD Graphics, 5 Hour Battery Life, 750 GB Hard Drive Split into Two Disk Dries, and Finally No...
Summary: I bought this SAMSUNG in July '12 to replace a 16" SONY VAIO from late 2008 so it is definitely thinner and lighter than what I had before. I like the fact that it has an 8 cell battery but I wish it were removable. It has a fan but it doesn't always run and it is quite quiet when it does. You can activate silent mode and force the fan off if it really bothers you. Excellent build quality.
Summary: I've had my Samsung for two months now so I'm here to tell you about it! What I like: Screen is bright enough I usually just leave it at minimum brightness and it is suffice The backlit keyboard and the spacing on the keyboard as well Quick start-up Webcam is decent-not amazing but better than my prior computer Speakers are great-you get a lot of sound at a relatively low setting Not too heavy The screen isn't flimsy, after I got it I had to open my old computer for...
