Summary: Likes: Nice CPU at time of purchase The jog dial to adjust CPU frequency Function buttons for volume, wifi, keyboard light Bright LCD screen LCD resolution 1920 x 1080 Multi touch pad is decent (It's pretty close to the Macbook Pro but still not perfect.) Decent audio from built-in speakers Dislikes: Keyboard (mushy) and my 'F' key is already unusable Power cord connector to laptop, should be L angle (I'm always afraid I'll break it off the laptop.
Summary: This is a great machine but hate the Windows 8. (just don't understand it). We have had problems with the screen not coming on and have had to remove the battery to shut it down. The battery is so heavy perhaps it gets nudged the wrong way. We only use this when traveling by auto. I think we will continue to use the 14" when flying even though we prefer the larger screen. This machine is FAST.
Great specs, cool features, would not work properly out of the box

Summary: I did a ton of research on this machine before buying. The Samsung Gamer 7 has all the features I wanted - high end video card with dedicated ram, large hard drive, HDMI, BluRay, a bunch of USB ports and some cool graphic features such as a neat looking screen saver on Gamer mode and a lit up keyboard. I ordered it next day air as I needed it for work and it arrived from Amazon in less than 24 hours! Unfortunately, once out of the box the problems began.
Summary: First of all, I fell in love with this thing at first sight but just like in real life, it let me down, but now I realize that it wasn't entirely its fault but more a combination of the evolution of technology and our mortal attempt to keep up with it. Too cryptic? Allow me to clarify. This thing is outstanding because, well, first of all, IT'S YELLOW! If you're gonna start off with a bold statement like that, you better be able to back it up!
Summary: Arrived quickly, looks good - have had terrible trouble getting it to work. Had to ring Samsung & after an hour finally got online - now. Having trouble getting a game to work...maybe it's me! Will repost if it all goes better!
Great speedy laptop, flimsy keyboard and the Operating System is FRUSTRATING

Summary: I got this laptop in December 2012. It's a very fast laptop and lots of great features, good in-built speakers. The flimsy keyboard meant that a key broke within a couple of months. The screen size is fantastic and very big, nice and bright too. The numberpad is very handy and the buttons to turn up/down volume is great. The Blueray CD/DVD doesn't seem to work properly and by the time I got round to trying it, it was too late to return to Amazon.
Summary: I am going to keep this short and sweet. As a gaming laptop this is the dogs b#lls. However, if you purchase this laptop as an all round entertainment rig its a big let down when it comes to bluray and DVD play back. When playing games the screen is crisp and very sharp, with good colour, contrast ect. I had the 700G7A before this and it seems the Bluray hardware samsung has given 700G7C model is exactly the same as the 700G7A.
Summary: Well, I bought this recently for University. I do 3D modelling and animation. I also like to game a little. Runs DMC 4 quite nicely actually. The laptop was mega fast, until I ran into some problems. The laptop begun to function strangely. First it started to freeze unexpectedly, and then it would go to a black screen with a blinking white dash (perhaps it's the hard drive?), and now it goes to the BSOD or...Blue Screen Of Death.
Summary: Good laptop but let me down badly hence 3 stars. Long story short this Laptop was a disapointment. Within a very short time of recieveing the laptop and after aproximately 5 starts/shutdowns i got a loud click from the hard drive. Critical drive failure most likely a head crash. I was aware from looking at the specs in windows that it uses hitachi drives (i'm not a fan). Anyway Samsung recovery software is installed so no problem you would think.
