Summary: This is a piece of crap computer! I decided to switch from Dell to Samsung and I started having issues with this computer the first week I started using it. 1) Connection to Router issues: Even though all my other laptops and cell phone have zero issues connect to the router wirelessly, the Samsung gets constantly dropped even though it is HARDWIRED connected to the router. 2) Flash does not work with Samsung.
Summary: Powerful computer and pleasant design. It is huge though, weighing in at about 17lbs, so not the best for travel. I believe there are comparable computers out now that weigh much less. Regardless, for a hardcore gamer, this is a great buy. I am able to simultaneously run Diablo 3, Star Wars Knights of Old Republic, and background programs without problems. My biggest issue with this computer is that it runs windows 8. I really like the idea of 8, but it needs more work.
Summary: I've had this "desktop replacement" for several months now. Its too big for constant travel and the batteries are not very good, but it is a great all around home computer for those who don't like bulky towers. It can handle any game I throw at it on the highest settings. I would trust Samsung's newer models will be just as satisfying.
Summary: I have had it for a year now, and as my first real gaming computer it has worked quite well. If you are willing to sacrifice battery life and weight in exchange for cost and power, this is the laptop for you. In my Minecraft world I have buildings that I made to the max draw distance on non-gaming rigs and they are towered over by what I can see using this computer.
Summary: This is a great machine but hate the Windows 8. (just don't understand it). We have had problems with the screen not coming on and have had to remove the battery to shut it down. The battery is so heavy perhaps it gets nudged the wrong way. We only use this when traveling by auto. I think we will continue to use the 14" when flying even though we prefer the larger screen. This machine is FAST.
Summary: I bought this refurbished and it was defective right out of the box, so much for Quality control, Samsung told me that the warranty had expired even though I just received it that day it was supposed to have an extended warranty . I'm not sure why this also cost me $29 to ship back. The item has been returned and I don't think I will buy a Samsung computer I have had better luck with HP over the years.
