Summary: Pros: Performance is excellent, with no issues or hiccups trying to do intensive tasks. Sound quality from the JBL speaker system is amazing for a laptop. The Anti-glare display, even though it is a lower resolution, provides a crisp and bright image. The keyboard is very well made, with surrounding keys not moving when a key near is pushed. The touchpad is nicely made, with physical buttons for the mouse clicks.
Summary: I personally have an intermediate/advanced amatuer kind of knowledge so I am not an expert expert if you will so this review will be based as is. In addition, this review is not based on a purchase thru Amazon.com. Build Quality: I have owned this laptop for 3 months as a replacement laptop, however I have to say this, I am not too impressed with the build quality, it feels flimsy and a bit too foamy in touch. It's not solid as a laptop should be like as of 2013.
Summary: I simply bought this as a replacement laptop to use at home for web surfing, watching videos, listening to music, etc. I have experience with Windows 8 so I'm used to that, and the size was to be expected so that's fine too. Honestly, I've only had it for a day, and it seems to perform well, but I have one big complaint - the speakers are TERRIBLE. At first I thought the balance was off so played around with the sound settings, but nothing helps.
Summary: I returned this laptop due to poor quality in manufacturing (cheaply made) and poor performance with Windows 8. The listing said it had 8GB RAM, it only had 6GB. The laptop came with the most basic, bare-bones version of Windows 8. Microsoft support could not even get the laptop to accept my anti-virus software (McAfee). It came with no user instructions, no warranty info, or recovery disks.
Summary: We did a ton of research on Laptops and found this to be one of the best. The seller was great and had it to us very fast. We are not a big fan of Windows 8...that is for more of a touch screen.
Summary: I love my new computer! It works well, the screen doesn't reflect back at me like my old one, the case is sturdy, and the keyboard is easy to type on. Windows 8 took some getting used to, but customizing the settings made it much easier.
