Bad product design lets down an otherwise descent notebook
26 February 2013
Summary: The adapter provided with this product is too small. This means that when plugged in the laptop runs very slowly. I informed Samsung of this and was told to reboot the system. I did that, and called them back, so they told me to send it to repairs. They rebooted the system again and sent it back to me. With Samsung repairs having done nothing to address the problem however, the problem persists.
Summary: At the moment i received my laptop it was great but a few days later windows 7 got me problems, the laptop doesnt want to go to the desktop or anything, it just stay in the part where windows is preparing the system. Now, i cant use my laptop for that reason y thats why i present you the next claim, i wish you could solve my problem quickly.
Summary: I bought this to travel with, I hate dragging a big laptop on planes and through airports. This AMD processor is very capable of doing all that I need with spreadsheets and SAP applications. I am very pleased and would highly recommend this system to anyone who is tired of big laptops. I do miss not having a CD Rom, but make do with downloads from the web for drivers and needed software.
Summary: This computer is the best bang for your buck. I do a lot of 3D CADing and it can handle everything I can through at it with relative ease. I'm currently on the standard configuration, but I plan on added and 8gb sodimm stick in it and an ssd that would make it even better. It's ridiculously thin and light, compared to my previous 1.75 inch brick. The speakers are pretty load, but if you put it on a soft surface it muffles it a lot.
Summary: I received this laptop and within 2 months, the hard drive failed. I then tried to contact Tiger Direct to return for repair/replacement and did not receive a response. I had to take it to a local repair center and pay to install a new hard drive.
Summary: Pros: Light weight, slim, and stylish. Metal outfit. It's the smallest ultrabook equipped with AMD mainstream A-series processor (as comparing to C/E/Z-series). Cons: The "z" key is stuck and defect out of box. Returned to Amazon. Can feel electric current at edges around the palm area when typing on the keyboard. The power supply is properly grounded and no such problem observed with other metal covered laptops like MBA.
Summary: My computer broke down twice in the first three months. Customer support consists of people who apologize relentlessly but can't do anything but refer you back to the third party repair facilities that service their products. When you call the repair service they leave you on hold for ten minutes before taking a message, then they don't return your call.
Laptop did not meet expectations, Customer Service Horrible

Summary: There are two parts to this review. 1st: the laptop itself is somewhat clunky and the design slightly flawed. I started having speed issues almost immediately and the keyboard/track pad lead you accidentally jump the cursor often. The cursor thing is even more annoying than it sounds. 2nd: After experiencing a keyboard problem and sending this in to Samsung to repair (under warranty) I've just completed the worst customer service experience of my life.
