Summary: Ive had this for about a month now and it handles exactly as i need it to. The battery charge is good, the keyboard is a great fit, and the screen resolution is great. It's a little heavier than I expected given the size, but not so heavy that it affected my satisfaction with the product. My ONLY beef with this has nothing to do with the Samsung product, its with Windows 8, which I hate so much. I use this for school and browsing and watch some video.
Summary: in my opinión Windows 8 is not very friendly, but thats OK I am stiil learning triks! the touch screen has been a very usefull tool Samsung is doing very well, I hope warranty and services works as well to!!!!
Summary: I purchased this laptop for my girlfriend a few months ago for graduate school. Its light and has great battery life. However with windows 8 and the preinstalled samsung bloatware this thing was laggy and unimpressive. Besides the underwhelming performance from the factory, she absolutely hated windows 8. I would definitely recommend this laptop, if you "downgrade" to windows 7.
Nice Ultrabook at a reasonable price with Windows 8

Summary: Like it with the Windows 8 but sometimes the touch feature doesn't operate and I have to log off and back on. The numbers pad is only on top and not on the side as well which would make it easier to enter numbers... Also, the charger already broke on me; it broke at the base where you plug it into the laptop....Be careful that is doesn't stretch too far while charging, but I found a new one at a reasonable price on ebay. Overall, I like it!
Summary: This Ultrabook has spoiled me forever. Full size power and performance in a lightweight product that I use daily. My 2-year old Toshiba Satellite laptop feels like it weighs a ton compared to this one. Battery length is excellent (almost 6 hours unless watching videos, maybe 4 1/2 - 5 hours) and sound quality is much better than expected although I usually use headphones, it's nice to have a laptop that you can hear clearly through its own speakers.
Summary: I can not rate this notebook from first hand experience because it was a gift to my 22 year old granddaughter. I can tell you, however, that she thinks it is the best computer she has ever owned or seen.
Summary: But the SSD is soldered and non-replaceable. Those suggesting it is part of the HDD are incorrect as I installed windows onto the 24gb SSD and removed the HDD and it booted fine. I then took apart the laptop and located the SSD which is soldered onto the motherboard. (UK Version). You can of course remove the 500gb HDD and replace it with an SSD but it would be nice to have both - in reality I would give it about 4.5 out of 5 and I usually review quite harshly.
