Nice Ultrabook at a reasonable price with Windows 8
9 August 2013
Summary: Like it with the Windows 8 but sometimes the touch feature doesn't operate and I have to log off and back on. The numbers pad is only on top and not on the side as well which would make it easier to enter numbers... Also, the charger already broke on me; it broke at the base where you plug it into the laptop....Be careful that is doesn't stretch too far while charging, but I found a new one at a reasonable price on ebay. Overall, I like it!
Summary: Great laptop......very light the touch sreen is very responsive and works great with the windows 8...the only bad thing is that doesnt have dvd burner but you can buy a external very cheap at best buy or wall mart. It turns on very quick and its very thin.
Excellent laptop, great windows touchscreen experience.
Ink Man, Amazon

Summary: I have to admit, I was very unsure of purchasing a "used" ultrabook on Amazon, especially since it was being offered by a 3rd party (The Money Station). But having checked the ultrabook out in a store previously, I as very tempted by the price. The ultrabook itself is a very sleek device. Due to the tapered edges, it gives you the illusion of being slimmer than it really is.
Summary: Bought this laptop as I needed a portable one with a reasonably sized screen that I felt would be reliable. I have had a Samsung laptop before that gave me years of good service, and after repairing the screen continues to do so, just needed something that I felt was newer and more reliable. The screen size and brightness is lovely. the size is compact but not too small, the HDD size at 500GB is just right, I'm not into cloud storage.
Summary: I like the look and feel of the laptop and that it's so light. It does take some getting used to though with the touch screen and windows 8 but that's a user education piece. I like the keyboard. It takes time to get used to working the apps as opposed to the web pages but I really like it.Great screen resolution too for videos etc.
Summary: Since opening the box three days ago, I've had nothing but trouble with this laptop. The touch screen has a mind of it's own and clicks constantly from the bottom left corner of the screen. Apparently, this is a common fault with this laptop - there are videos on YouTube that people have posted of their screens doing the same thing as mine.
Summary: This specific laptop was built extremely well in comparison to other Samsung models of this ultrabook. For this UK model only, more expensive metals were used in the heat sink meaning that the heat dissipation is extremely efficient, meaning silent operations 99.9% of the time. The design is truly stunning, in my opinion much better than any Apple laptop. This model has a Samsung SSD only, which means that there are no moving parts in the drive.
