Summary: I bought this mainly for work, browsing the web, and ocassional gaming....this laptop has exceeded my expectations so far! I also really liked windows 8, once you get used to it, and start using windows store apps, you will never want to go back!
Summary: I will do a terse review based upon my first impressions. I was looking for a new desktop-replacement laptop that wouldn't break my budget and would let me play my games -I'm nowhere near a hardcore gamer, but I do like to run my Starcraft II, my League of Legends and my steam games at a decent framerate.
Summary: Really, a very good laptop for the price (sub 700$ and free shipping). The i5 processor is plenty fast for most typical purposes. The 6G of memory is equally nice. What I did was to purchase a 128GB SSD to replace the platter hard drive to really give this laptop some speed. Typical platter based hard drives are a big bottleneck, but I simply won't pay the premium to have them pre-installed at a big markup, so I do it myself.
Summary: This is perfect for our uses; the graphics set-up in particular is fantastic for a notebook. My wife will use this for on-the-go graphical design, and so far she has zero complaints. This was shipped from Adorama, who beat all delivery estimates and got it to us ahead of schedule - can't ask better than that for a birthday present!
Summary: Simply can't be beat for the price you pay. Wicked processor, 6gb ram, 2 GPU's included. 1 for web browsing and movies, good for saving battery life on the go. If you're a gamer like me, switch the application's card to high performance and you get to enjoy the AMD radeons 2GB video card giving awesome graphics for a laptop. Simply can't be beat for the price you pay. Bought used, came in looking brand new. Now go buy it! Thank yourself after.
Easily one of the best values in laptops *READ IF YOU HAVE THIS LAPTOP AND DONT LIKE THE GRAPHICS PERFORMANCE*

Summary: I searched and did research for weeks and finally pulled the trigger on this Samsung 15" because of it's core i7 and dedicated graphics at a very reasonable price. My primary use is for my studio, the core i7 is great for audio encoding compared to my old dual core Pentium laptop (obviously). I also travel from time to time and like to play games that I typically play on my desktop so I had to have a dedicated graphics chip.
