don't buy samsung
19 December 2014
Summary: w8 crashed after 3 months, failed to recover, had to reinstall w.1 from scratch, isssues with soud recording - had to install driver from w7. s agent app - not uninstalling - had to delete folders ?! noisy, cracks very easy.
Summary: The computer is OK, except that the mouse pad is a bit sticky, but it came with Windows 8 which is a disaster. The commands you need with all use are not there or hidden and it is just not user friendly.
Summary: As soon as I plugged it in the screen brought up the Samsung logo in three different places and then crashed. I tried turning it off and charging the battery pack and turned it on again, it instead keeps having a blank screen without any BIOS, logo or login menu at all.
Summary: Laptop broke after 2 days. System turned off suddenly then a puff of smoke come out from the keyboard when i tried to restart. This was my first experiencwe of a Samsung laptop, will probably be my last.
Summary: Laptop has a wireless problem, it will intermittently drop even on the strongest signal. Many people have also had same issue with this model having searched around on the web. Driver update doesn't cure either - known issue with this product with no cure.
Summary: On paper this laptop seemed just perfect, and the reviews i saw online suggested this too. I'd never had a Samsung before, usually went for Acers, but decided to try this out. And when it arrived I was really excited and liked the look of it, the screen, the keyboard, USB 3.0s, everything looked...
Very disappointed with screen colour & inability to resolve

Summary: I regard myself as PC competent so when this came I set up & part of which was to calibrate the scene to my tastes but whatever I did I couldn't get the settings to stick. Calling Samsung Tech Support was a real pain & their suggestion didn't work.
