Summary: The computer is OK, except that the mouse pad is a bit sticky, but it came with Windows 8 which is a disaster. The commands you need with all use are not there or hidden and it is just not user friendly. Doubt I will use this computer unless it's possible to install Windows 7 or a user friendly Windows 9 comes a along.
Summary: We bought this laptop one year ago. Although the laptop itself is fine, it is fast in loading, good battery power and good screen clarity but ... Windows 8 has been a nightmare!! We thought that we would get used the the different system but we are not! If you search for something then it's very difficult to get back to your original screen or it suddenly jumps and opens up a completely different window. It is also difficult to close the window once it is open.
Summary: Laptop has a wireless problem, it will intermittently drop even on the strongest signal. Many people have also had same issue with this model having searched around on the web. Driver update doesn't cure either - known issue with this product with no cure. We have purchased a USB wireless dongle to keep us going. Pity as in all other respects a nice, fast laptop.
Summary: On paper this laptop seemed just perfect, and the reviews i saw online suggested this too. I'd never had a Samsung before, usually went for Acers, but decided to try this out. And when it arrived I was really excited and liked the look of it, the screen, the keyboard, USB 3.0s, everything looked great. I really really wanted it to be great. But. it. is. awful. it is painful. I am bemused at why it is so bad and so slow.
Summary: Samsung 350V5C 15.6-inch Laptop - (Silver) (Intel Core i3 2.4GHz, 6GB RAM, 750 GB HDD, DVDSM DL, LAN, WLAN, Bluetooth, Webcam, Integrated Graphics, Windows 8) . Ordered and received 2 of these from another vendor. The first one developed a problem after 3 days of use: the screen covering the audio speakers at the top of the keyboard became warped - it curved up in the middle and was annoyingly visible. I arranged a return, and ordered another identical model.
Very disappointed with screen colour & inability to resolve

Summary: I regard myself as PC competent so when this came I set up & part of which was to calibrate the scene to my tastes but whatever I did I couldn't get the settings to stick. Calling Samsung Tech Support was a real pain & their suggestion didn't work. So my attitude was why was I spending so much time & stress trying to sort something that should be easily doable on a brand new laptop.
Summary: Not for me. It worked fine with Windows 8 but I didn't like Windows 8 - too 'pre packed and didn't like the integrated direct process. Tried to change it to Linux Mint but this proved impossible. However, as always, Amazon were there to rescue me with a refund and I'm now awaiting delivery of a replacement with Windows 7.
Summary: I use a fairly new (mid-2012) Samsung laptop at work - which is just great, and was initially really delighted to buy this very similar, but top-spec Samsung machine at just under £600 from Amazon. However, on the first day's use I had problems with the internet connectivity - it took ages to do simple internet tasks, activate my Norton sample s/w, and to load my brand new MS Office software (which in the end failed to load properly at all.
Summary: I've waited for a while after getting it before writing a review because I thought that what with me getting used to Windows 8 OS I wanted to be sure that it was not something I was doing wrong. The problem seems to be when there is a need for it to re-start, (using the re-start button). It doesn't.
