Summary: Was very impressed with the speed of this laptop when I first bought it. 12 months later I started noticing the performance dropping off (I am not a heavy user and use it mainly for documents, music, movies and some Autodesk Inventor). Several attempts to clean up the hard drive and transfer files to an external hard drive made no difference and eventually when the laptop was only 18 months old, the hard drive completely died and I was unable to even start up windows and...
Summary: fast delivery this came that quick I thought it had come from near were I live its a refurbished one but just like brand new it a bit on the heavy side but that's all I can say wrong about it rest is brilliant not had no trouble with it thank you.
Summary: Don't buy it - after 21 months it crashes repeatedly and has to be re-booted at every use. Samsung don't want to know because we've had it longer than a year! Surely something with such a well known brand name at this price should last longer than 21 months without all this trouble.
Summary: I bought to replace a PC operating under XP. As I wanted as little change in procedures as possible, I opted for a laptop running under Windows 7 (rather than the fundamental change adopted by Windows 8). This Samsung met that requirement. The smaller screen is taking getting used to when I had a 19" before and I will look at connecting the old screen to the laptop. I have not used the mouse pad and via a USB socket I have connected my radio mouse.
Summary: Bought this a year ago and it hasn't disappointed. The speed has slowed a bit but that is normal as you put on more software - I've yet to hear of a medium priced laptop that performs as well as it gets older - overall pleased with the product apart from the peculiarity that the cursor tends to move when typing if you're not careful and type in the wrong position ie palms low on keyboard!
Summary: I got this Laptop refurbished and went to pains to find out whether Windows 8 or Windows 7 was the right version for me. I'm very glad that I opted for Windows 7. The laptop itself is perfect, It's quick there's plenty of storage and after having it for 7 months now I've had no problems with it.
Summary: The laptop has been nothing but trouble, first being returned for a spontaneously broken casing and mother board detaching itself in the first few months. They said it is not under warranty (within a year). Costing me 294 pounds. I will never buy another samsung laptop, incredibly poor quality.
