Summary: Great for people on to go bases. long battery life. only has a single core, so it can only doing one task at a time, otherwise, it seems very slow at times. But over all this netbook does a pretty good basic job on your basic needs for a computer.
Pros: Comfortable Keyboard, Good Battery Life, Good Display Screen, WiFi
Summary: Bought for travelling and WIndows compatibility. It had the longest battery use time I could find and a decent size of hard disc. I also bought the external DVD drive that is powered from the USB ports, so doesn't need any more mains plugs and so can be used away from power. Because it is Windows I can sync it to my Desktop machine. The wi-fi has a good range to pick up hotspots when out.
Summary: This machine looks good but its performance does not match. Comes with minimal preloaded software and loading useful stuff takes ages. And in my case has been very erratic on making wireless Internet connections. A huge amount of time has beeen spent puzzling over why it fails to connect.
Summary: I have had this netbook for slightly over a year now and (for a netbook) this samsung is absolutely fantastic; easy to carry, powerful enough to get a bit of work done while on the move, the battery life (which is I would estimate at 4 hours) is also pretty nice. Following the suggestions by early reviewers, I didn't even try to use it with 1 GB and immediately bought one additional GB (be sure to get the right memory!).
Summary: Speakers developed crackle within weeks Samasung customer care stated software issue but not so (is hardware fault) and then unable to get answer from them. Performance is sluggish. I bought this to travel abroad with for six months and chose for weight battery and performance but does not stack up. I also have to have a lead plug in to to speaker socket at all time due to the Speaker hardware issue.
Pros: It looks nice and is small !
Cons: Performance and speakers which crackle continuously
