Summary: Only Ok product. Had the problem of the folding screen blanking out due to poor design of the connecting cables. HDMI connection to connect to tv was useless as it came with Win 7 starter and this is not supported on the Starter version. Useless. Upgraded eventually to Win 7 home and connected to TV. What an awful operating system as the TV size was about 1/4 of the screen. Last straw for WinDoze and now Apple iPad convert.
Summary: We've had our Samsung NC110 for over a year now but it's going to have to go. Even with the extra memory it's too slow for even simple net surfing. Some sites such as the Met Office never do load. Its screen went after about six months and had to be replaced under warranty. Shame, it's a nice bit of kit but I'm going to throw it at the wall out of frustration if we keep it.
Excerpt: I first purchased this netbook around a year ago while looking for something portable to display images I'd taken at car shows, make quick edits and send to my dye sub printer, all on site. I thought a netbook would be the way to go as my laptop was a bit to big and heavy, plus laptop battery life is usually not brilliant, whereas netbooks excel in this area.
Pros: small, lightweight, well built, clear screen, good wifi connectivity
Cons: incredibly slow, struggles with even simple internet browsing, no inbuilt CD drive
Summary: Hi all! I bought this netbook 3 weeks ago, the delivery was delayed (it took near 10 days, unusual thing with Amazon). I bought 2 GBytes to swap for the 1 GBytes from the factory. The notebook just could do the job and you can not expect too much. The CPU and the amount of RAM could not keep up with my expectations of watching videos online, jump fast from 1 window to another... Don't get me wrong, is not awfully slow, but you understand why is so cheap....
Summary: I bought this Samsung Netbook to replace a similar sort of small computer made by Asus, which I had bought four years before and had been damaged. I had been very happy with it, and I imagined that this machine, so much more up-to-date, would be a good deal better. In fact, it seems in general to be slower and more prone to crash.
Summary: I have just has to send this version back to Amazon (excellent returns service) as the screen developed a white line down the middle immediately after it was prepared for use! I know these things happen but I was surprised on a brand new Samsung model. We had bought it for my wife's aunt who at 60 is just going online. I have a 2 year old N110 and have found it a delight to use and wholly reliable. But this version was in contrast quite unattractive.
Beware of Samsung Customer Service if your product is faulty

Summary: It seems a shame to give what may otherwise be a promising netbook a bad review when the poor rating should be for Samsungs customer service but electronic items do need reliable customer service. My netbook, received this Christmas, showed, from new, only 6.5 hours on the battery indicator when fully charged (yes, I had switched off the Samsung BatteryLifeExtender program) and, of course, it lasted less than 4 hours just writing documents and surfing.
