Samsung N220

neil.postlethwaite, CNET
16 August 2010
  • Summary: At this price, you'd be better off buying a HP/Compaq Mini 311 with Hardware accelerated NVidia Ion graphics. Amazon are punted them out @ £230 with free delivery. Does not quite have the same impressive battery life, but much, much more usable with the 11.6" real estate screen.
  • Pros: Good Solid Samsung Netbook, Family look now with the excellent R530/730
  • Cons: Price

Great idea, but unusably slow at times.

Chris Hollingworth, Amazon
19 February 2015
  • Summary: Nice portable idea with built-in keyboard and long battery life. Can be horribly slow when doing two things, so when I write I shut off wi-fi and stop the virus protection. Can take several minutes to launch Word for example. Once in though, it performs okay.

Small, light, powerful and great battery

Cribbs, Amazon
12 June 2012
  • Summary: Bought this as an alternative to my desktop. Bought on eBay for £150 6 weeks ago and I absolutely love it! The screen is perfect, hd quality and when plugged in, as bright as you'd like! I often use mine for watching shows online in bed, the sound isn't bad either with the SRS function.

Battery on the blink

R. Fleming, Amazon
10 January 2012
  • Summary: Happy enough with the netbook. Keys can be a little fiddly. I've had it 18 months and - to be fair - have used it quite a bit (particularly for business when on the road). It's not always connected to the mains power supply, and I quite regularly run it off battery. And there lies the problem.

Good all rounder and v portable

  • Excerpt: Excellent little netbook, purchased mine about six months ago and I would definitely recommend it. Firstly it is hardy; my machine has been knocked on the floor and walked on by my kitten and still functions perfectly.

I love my little netbook!

althea, Amazon
29 August 2011
  • Summary: I treated myself to it over 6 months ago and it hasn't given any trouble. The keyboard is easy to use (even my 6 year old son uses it with no complaints), its fast and compact. I use it for browsing the web, and writing assignments and my blog.

cheekybut..., Ciao
22 January 2011
  • Excerpt: I had been looking around to buy a computer but did not fancy buying something bulky. I could afford to spend more then around £350. I have always trusted samsung so when i saw this N220 in the shop i really liked it. The cover is a subtle design with a nice looking samsung logo.
  • Pros: looks great and feels great to work with .  display is really good
  • Cons: poor online performance

MR C ROBERTS, Amazon

Another corker of a netbook from Samsung

Hishyeness, Dooyoo
5 November 2010
  • Excerpt: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BOYS AND THEIR TOYS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Seduced by the idea of the ability to read, write and surf on the go, I have been hankering after an ultraportable netbook for ages. The catalyst that turned wishing for one into actually buying one was twofold.
