Excerpt: I love my Samsung Netbook!! I am always online shopping, researching, listing products, doing research, so this little netbook is perfect. The Samsung Netbook is lightweight and super portable. It is great for all your basic needs and you can bump up the screen resolution (which they do not recommend, but makes it so much better) so you can watch movies and shows on Netflix or whatever site you stream from.

Excerpt: My wife and I acquired our 2 Samsung Netbook N145-JP01US 10.1" Netbooks as a promotional items from tobacco manufacturer as a prize in answering questions about the "West"... so forgive me if I seem a little biased as this is my first netbook and it was free to boot... well, unless you count straining our brains and doing a million Internet searches late into the night about the west as free. Anyway, this thing is very powerful for a netbook...
Excerpt: I just recently got the Samsung N145 Plus netbook. It has Windows 7 starter pack installed in it. It is the best little netbook!! It is very quick and the keyboard is almost the size of a regular keyboard. I would highly recommend this to anyone who just wants to surf the web or check their email. I take this with me EVERYWHERE!! It is great to use while out. Reviewer received a sample of this product.
Summary: I bought this for my daughter to use for her college work. It is much more convenient that a full size unit with all of the necessary features. The price point is great. Maybe I'll get one for myself!
Summary: for starters it can multitask unlike most reviews say. also the screen is great HD as for the battery i just got it and it did not die for 8 hours i have bean using this for three days now and so far it is as good or better that my full size desktop i would also suggest to any one to buy it at best buy (like me) it will save you some money.
Summary: Well, I have too much experience with notebooks & netbooks now. But, with 4 kids (2 middle school & 2 high school), a computer literate partner, not to mention my computing needs- I need a 'no brainer' netbook solution, which, so far- the Samsung N145-JP02 has been. Actually, I was sharing a very low end Compaq laptop with my partner (we share things nicely) but, she had an accident with an 18 wheeler, broke a ton of bones in her body- including her back & wrist- so, a...
Summary: reasonably fast out of the box. added avg internet security, which is one of the least cumbersome antivirus programs. it slowed down more than i would have liked. later, for no apparent, the keyboard started getting flaky. it would work only sometimes. sigh.
Summary: I like my N145 JP02 very much. Bought it in the Netherlands for $333,- including 2 gb about a month ago. It's now going for at least $ 454,- the same specs. It's a little slow now and then, but works fine with office 2003, connects with my desktop modem untill my house roof (about 14 meters high), wotks fine in the train with wifi, is light and handy. I spent about eight hours to select all the other brands out, but I'm very satisfied. Battery lasts about >5 hours.
Summary: DH and I like the Samsung N145 netbook very much. I'm personally amazed at the power of this tiny computer. We've owned the computer 4 months and the Samsung is used by my 11 yo as we home school. Thus far, the Samsung has been used for streaming Netflix, youtube videos, and word processing with MS Office 10. With the 2G RAM upgrade, this computer works great. I'm not overfond of the keyboard size, so have purchased a full-sized, USB keyboard that works well.
