Summary: This Samsung netbook running Windows 7 Starter is a solid unit that performs well for the things I need and intend to use it for. Extended stays in the hospital & away from home are eased somewhat by the ability to take care of business (bill pay etc.) my self.
Summary: Lovely little note book very handy takes very little space, light weight. Came with the software, when using excel it would cover 1/3 part of the screen just because Windows starter installed, could not install any other Windows because the processor and mother board would not support the system.
Summary: Laptop is good quality build, but it comes with all this Samsung s*** you didn't really want and will just be wasting time uninstalling. Including MSN Messenger which as you may know, has shut down.
Overall a very good netbook with all the basic features.

Excerpt: I've had this Samsung Netbook for nearly 18months via the 3 network. I pay a monthly fee for the netbook and unlimited internet. I must admit I was a bit concerned when I ordered the netbook because I'd always been used to laptops and so I thought the screen and keyboard would be tiny.
Probably best avoided unless you know how to fix computers.

Excerpt: My other half 'stole' this Netbook from me from new and loved it for about 18 months and wouldn't let me near it until it died. No other word to describe it really, Windows was acting up (as ever) so a reboot ensued followed by nothing, dead.
First needed to be modified to meet my needs - then worked brilliantly!

Summary: Samsung N145 Plus 10.1 inch Netbook - Black (Intel Atom N455 1.66GHz, RAM 1GB, HDD 320GB, LAN, WLAN, Webcam, Windows 7 Starter) Delivery from Amazon - very prompt - arrived within 48 hours of ordering. My Modest Needs.
Summary: My experience with this netbook was a little delayed by the failure of the first one delivered to show me anything on-screen. I tried the brightness and contrast through the function keys, but the screen was not lighting up at all.
Excerpt: For many years I refused to entertain the idea of having a laptop computer. I like my desktop - currently a Mac mini - and when travelling to the UK, as we do usually once a year, I would borrow whatever computer was on offer to check email and so on.
Pros: Lightweight, easy to use, USB ports, useful for travelling
Summary: This Samsung N145 replaced my MSi Wind U100. I would agree with many people that Windows 7 Starter is not as good as XP for netbooks. You do not miss any of the bells and whistles removed from the full version on Win7, it is just that XP feels faster and lighter.
