A decent netbook with a good spec suited to basic PC tasks and watching videos
3 November 2012
Excerpt: Ultimately these netbooks are made for emails, word processing and surfing the web. The N140 can carry out these functions perfectly and you can comfortably watch videos on it too. Obviously, however, when you consider the graphics card and processor, powerful games and excessive multi-tasking are not possible. Having said that, I have been impressed with the speed of this device. It really does pack quite a punch considering its size.
Summary: This was bought as a present for my daughter, who has really enjoyed using this product from day one. If you need a netbook for general computing and surfing the web then this is the one for you.Handles all task thrown at it well. For example you can watch Youtube clips, open up a document or two and transfer files to a storage device with no interruption or slowing down of the system.
great device - does what it is designed to do well

Summary: I've had one for about 8 months - and to say that I'm happy with it is an understatement ! Advantages The battery life is amazing - this is the first laptop/netbook I've owned where you find yourself working away without worrying about whether there is a power outlet around. Usability - My wife (who prior to us buying this wouldnt be the most computer savy) uses this everyday - and has never asked me a question on how to use it !
Summary: Arrived on time and all in one piece. Please note that this comes with a pouch/case so don't buy an alternative one until you seen the one included. This netbook works well, does all I want it to do - a few too many sample programmes that are only trials - popping up all the time. But overall I am pleased with this.
Summary: Got this 4 my girlfriend she loved it, but says that it is a bit slow I am not an expert on computers so I don't know if netbooks would really be slower then normal laptops or pc. It is a bit slow the one I got, battery is really good.
Summary: This was mostly an impulse buy as I already had a laptop. The problem was that the laptop wasn't very good in the first place: an HP model with an advertised battery life of just one hour. Shame on me! Rather than invest in another laptop, however, my focus turned to something I could use for hours at a time, without having to worry about battery life. After doing some due diligence on the Internet, the Samsung netbooks came highly recommended most of all.
Summary: It's very light, it looks good, is the size of a hardback book, has a great keyboard, the battery lasts for hours, it's good for typing and accessing the internet - it links straight to my phone via bluetooth. Operating system Windows 7 starter is basic but good. On the other hand it's quite slow, (I haven't yet upgraded the processor and am not yet ready to spend the extra money,) the free one-year Office package was apparently withdrawn last November (so I am using...
Summary: I am writing this on my new Samsung N140 from Amazon. My first experience with Samsungs was at christmas when I got my wife a Samsung N110, the slightly enhanced big brother of the famous N10 which is still (at the time of writing) the only netbook to recieve a 10/10 from trusted reviews. The N140 is just as good and adds the bonus of the sleep and charge USB and the slightly larger keyboard and trackpad with awesome battery life!
Summary: A great little computer marred by very limited software. Windows 7 does not support the enormous potential of this device. For those wanting a reliable, easy to use, easy to carry computer with a very good battery life, then this machine fits the bill.
Summary: I purchased the Netbook about a month or so ago. I actually ordered it twice as the first one came with two small scratches on the top cover so I sent it back for a replacement. The first Netbook came within a day of ordering which was pretty amazing, whereas the replacement took a day or two longer, but I was happy with that as it arrived before I'd even sent the original one back!
