Summary: The power plug is very small and the pin that plugs into the back on the unit is easy to break off inside of the unit. The keys on the key board are already working loose after one month of use. I would not tell anyone to purchase this product. If do buy this Samsung Chrome book buy it in the store and get a three year warranty for $18.00. Online the warranty is for 2 years for $45.00.
Summary: Overall, it worked great, but just seemed really small for 11.6 inches. I had a 10.1 tablet that seems bigger and easier to use, mostly I think because it was touch screen, which this is not. I was really disappointed about that. The Chrome OS is kinda different, but once you get used to it, Im sure it would be fine as well. I imagine its a learning curve, much like Windows 7 to Windows 8.
Summary: What am I a child and Google has instituted "parental" type controls on my browser "for my own safety"?! Give me a break. I wouldn't recommend this computer for anyone needing to do more than browse around on-line. Now it's not even good for that, unless you like seeing the message "Google Chrome Has blocked access to _ for now". It's becoming more useless to me every day.
Pros: Lightweight and stays virus free
Cons: Google suddenly decides to block access to website of my choosing/can't store and review personal photos etc.
Summary: Bought this for my daughter and she didn't like it. She can't watch catch up TV or get movies and there is very little you can download onto it. I can't play an online game that I like as it doesn't support the Java application. Expensive for browsing the internet!
Excerpt: Was really pleased to get my chromebook until I found out you could not Skype. Contacted Samsung who at first offered a replacement, then changed their minds. Samsung customer service is very poor and not to be trusted.
