  • Excerpt: It turns on and off very quickly. It is very useful to have around the house and make inquiries online, check email, view photos or videos. I did an excellent purchase. My mom uses it all the time and did not need too much training.
  • Pros: Bright, Doesn't Jam, Durable, Good Value, Quick, Simple to use

Underpowered, low-quality screen

Jay L., Newegg
15 July 2015
  • Summary: Don't buy this machine - especially since a newer version is now available. We've had this machine in the family for about 1 year now. In that time, we've found that even Chrome OS - as simple as it is - really needs 4GB of RAM for any kind of "multi-tasking.
  • Pros: It's cheap. Good keyboard.
  • Cons: Slow. Low-quality screen. No touchscreen.

  • Excerpt: We needed a new Chromebook for our daughter to take to school next year. This should be more than adequate as it doubled the schools specs at the same cost of the district system!
  • Pros: Good Value, Lightweight, Small Footprint

Perfect for me!

Mary T., Newegg
4 June 2015
  • Pros: This is exactly what I was looking for as a bridge between my Asus tablet and a full sized laptop.
  • Cons: It's not compatible with my school's student data base (RenWeb), but I think that is their problem, not my Chromebook's. Also, it takes a little while to get used to everything being online rather than in an actual app as on a tablet, but I knew that going into it, so it's really NOT a problem fo...

Everyone of them has worked wonderfully for a number of months

James N. Domingue, Amazon
14 April 2015
  • Summary: This is my third Samsung Chromebook. Everyone of them has worked wonderfully for a number of months. Then they begin to repeatedly drop internet connections. The first two were bought simultaneously and failed about simultaneously. I have done a powerwash, reinstalled the OS, etc.

  • Summary: Let me start off by saying i was a little skeptical because of the chrome OS and not being able to use Microsoft office. This is a great update from the last Chromebook. I like the fact it was super light weight and such a fast sleek interface starts up and shuts down fast.

Samsung Chromebook

carla m, Amazon
26 February 2015
  • Summary: It's very smooth, cute, and light. The top is leather didn't expec that bonus and the keyboard is smooth and easy to type on. It moves a little slow and I expected because of the details I read before I bought it.
