Summary: a very good upgrade from the original chromebook. does everything I need it to do and does it in style! It gets looks everywhere I take it. I run circles around my coworkers productivity wise. I even tend to use it more than my phone now-a-days.
Summary: I'm returning this immediately. It's completely useless to me. I don't see that this is an improvement over the1st gen Chromebook which was much cheaper when new. (I had use of the original through my job.) I bought the 2 for homework and I have to say I'd more done faster using my phone (a Samsung Galaxy 5) or my $199 iPad mini. The keyboard has a cheezy feel and the display has the same ugly bleached out look of the original Chromebook.
The best laptop ever made for 90 percent of computer users!

Summary: I've been curious about Chromebook for a while, but finally took the plunge and got the Samsung Chromebook 2 after several weeks researching. A bit of gripe: FedEx did a terrible job of delivery, seemed like my Chromebook traveled all around the US before getting to me a full 3 days after Prime expected delivery date. The Samsung Chromebook 2 seems to have it all: powerful processor, more memory (4GB vs. 2GB on other brands) and new design.
Summary: I really like the size and the quality of the hardware, it is a big adjustment to use something that is not Windows OS based. I keep telling myself its just a big phone with a keyboard, and I use my phone for everything well so this is more luxury without the complications and bulk of a laptop. I admit, the start-up from power off to rolling on the web is less than 10 seconds and I do not miss the delays of Windows OS.
Summary: The Samsung Chromebook 2 (11.6-Inch, Classic White) is a great little book to connect to the internet, visit a e favorite sites and use email. I am a macbook person, I have to say that. To me, nothing will ever match up to the macbook for me. But my 7 year old macbook is slowing down and showing its age. I decided on this Chromebook because I couldn't currently justify the cash output for another macbook. This practically sets up itself. It is basically sign in and go.
Summary: I can sum it up to this...it's like having your Android in laptop form, but less options. I've owned it for a week and I've used it for 5+ hours everyday for my internet-based college courses and other daily things. I use Google-based products and apps a lot, but this computer just doesn't cut it. There's no delete button, just backspace. It starts up quick, but the internet is slow to nothing (all my other devices work great with my Wi-Fi).
Summary: This device is a Godsend for seniors who want a handy, easy, convenient way to locate information. shop, communicate. It's so easy to use and I am nearly tech illiterate. I even managed to figure out how to read free books (my favorite thing) Thanks for such a great product. This is my second one, as I accidentally broke the first one.
Summary: The $299 Samsung Chromebook 2 looks slick, boots quickly and has everything you need to make the most of Google's budding Chrome OS. Its full-HD display puts it a step above many Chromebook competitors, and its lightweight design and 9.5-hour battery life make it an ideal companion for the road. One of the more intriguing preinstalled apps is AirDroid, which lets you access your Android device on your Chromebook. The app looks like a desktop, but in a browser window.
