Summary: I did some research, and amazon needs to update their description. The "Quad core processor" is an AMD quad core processor. AMD doesn't make bad chips, they just aren't as good as intel in laptops. They tend to run hotter, and they are generally less efficient. They do however have better graphics. That brings me to my second point. The "AMD Radeon(tm) Graphics" are just integrated graphics. To me, "AMD Radeon(tm) Graphics" makes it sound like there's discrete graphics.
Summary: Samsung had a great thing going with their ATIV Book 9 line of 13.3-inchers. They kicked off the line with the Samsung NP900X3A, which included a much better than average quality display in terms of deep blacks and strong colors. Although the 3A's display was still saddled with lowly 1366x768 resolution, Samsung upped their game with the NP900X3B/C/D models using their flagship 13.3" 1600x900 PLS display -- a display that not only let you fit a decent amount more...
Summary: I just began using the Book 9 lite and I have to say I am quite impressed. It is designed extremely well. The white exterior is smooth and sleek. The system is very thin and the keyboard is very comfortable to use. I was most impressed when I turned the system on and begin using it. The performance is amazing. I highly recommend this system to anyone looking for a notebook that performs extremely well but also provides that sleek design that Samsung is known for.
Summary: I am a PhD student in the biomedical sciences and I bought this laptop to use as my primary computer that I also can take back and forth to the research laboratory. Ever since I have bought this laptop, it has been the center of my universe. I would highly recommend this laptop to any college or graduate student. It is lightweight and portable but also has all of the amazing features of a higher-end entertainment laptop.
Pros: Battery Life, Graphics, Lightweight, Extremely Fast
Summary: My first impression of this machine as the tech at BestBuy pulled it out of the box was "WOW that's beautiful!" I got the Mineral Ash which is more of a dark, dark metallic blue than a black/charcoal. So far I'm very impressed with this little computer. It starts up in 8-10 seconds, connects to my wireless very quickly and does not drop the wireless like my HP Pavilion beast does. I travel 1-2 times per month and my 9 lb behemoth is just too heavy and unwieldy.
Pros: very lightweight, very fast, keyboard is nice size
