Major screen issues.
22 November 2013
Summary: Worked perfectly for about 1 month. Now the screen flashes/pulsates & strange lines go across the screen without notice. Not sure what is happening here but the last computer I bought lasted 4 years. This one is less than 2 months old.
Summary: This is a disappointing experience - my list of issues is similar to many others posted. This machine is frustratingly slow, quirky and pretty much does what it wants to, not what I want it to do. Freeze ups, jerky navigating, WIFI dropouts, unwanted messages.
Summary: Overall I am disappointed with this laptop and now with Samsung as a company. The laptops review is below but I thought I would start with why owning this laptops has made me disappointed with the company.
Pros: The laptop is fairly lightweight and has a pretty sleek design to it. Samsung has been gearing towards a more "Mac-like" aesthetic professional look lately and this one doesn't disappoint. The display is quite pretty with its 1080p resolution and the touchscreen is more practical for general web ...
Cons: While there are some good features about this laptop, they aren't good enough given the price. 1080p resolutions are more or less industry standard as well as USB 3.0, the speakers, although decent sounding, tend to be on the quiet side and are prone to crackling, the touchscreen, although neat, ...
Summary: There are pros and cons about this product. PROS: 1. Fast! Whether you are booting it or just turning it on from standby, it loads up fast. I have used this laptop for 2 months now and have not faced serious problems with performance. There were few problems initially.
Summary: Ok--all the reviews about this laptop are true. It's great for the money. However, there are some design considerations to keep in mind. 1rst--the battery is buried in the unit. So you won't be able to swap out the battery (or take the battery out).
Summary: I am not a computer specialist. Just a business person (photographer) who needed a new laptop and giving my own personal opinion on things I notice on this computer that I think is important to note before buying. * It doesn't have a optical drive (no CD/DVD port).
