Summary: Bought this in a local tiger direct store Worked pretty good for awhile but then after 5 months i opened the laptop up and the casing on the screen broke. Now it's completely limp and has to be held up. poor quality, not worth the money paid.

Summary: The computer is powerful and sexy. I like how sturdy it feels. So far, I'm impressed with the screen. It's full 1080 HD and it's noticeable! The "touch" is extremely accurate. I'm a computer science student, the keyboard feels nice, the screen resolution gives me plenty of real estate to code on and the backlit helps. The first thing you should do is go the Windows 8 "home screen", start typing "SW Updates" and open the Samsung update utility.
Summary: I did months of research because the only reason I needed a PC is for Photoshop. The display is sharp and the keyboard is great, I was even surprised by the sound quality. The only issue I had upgrading to windows 8.1 is that you have to do all the windows 8.0 upgrades before the 8.1 upgrade shows available at the Microsoft Store.
Summary: I am very happy with laptop itself, everything meet or exceed expectations.Like usually always something: I would like that come with Windows 7 instead of Windows 8, but again overall very happy. Laptop came on the time and was in original box. Happy camper !
Summary: Worked perfectly for about 1 month. Now the screen flashes/pulsates & strange lines go across the screen without notice. Not sure what is happening here but the last computer I bought lasted 4 years. This one is less than 2 months old.
Summary: Wanted to love it. Worse computer experience ever. It came out of the box not working properly; #1 key was a dud. Company requires that I send it in for service twice before they will replace. Came back after 6 weeks ( they are in no hurry) and they kept my professional shipping box and sent it back in a cheap box. Two months later, computer failing again. Company requires that I have it serviced again (more time without computer).
Summary: After following all the directions and spending an hour trying to install Windows 8.1 I spent and additional 3 hours on the phone with MS support to install windows 8.1. They also had to troubleshoot to figure out why I wasn't able to install. After installation, I got a blank blue screen several times and had to do a hard reboot. Not to mention, the touch screen wasn't very responsive. Maybe I got a lemon not sure...........
Powerful and speedy workhorse -- worth every penny!

Summary: Heavy duty laptop for heavy duty work. I purchased this laptop as a secondary laptop since my primary laptop is getting older, but I find that I spend more time on this laptop than my other one, even much of my data and applications are on the other computer. I love the loading speed, touchscreen, backlit keyword, and just workhorse power of this laptop.
Summary: This is a disappointing experience - my list of issues is similar to many others posted. This machine is frustratingly slow, quirky and pretty much does what it wants to, not what I want it to do. Freeze ups, jerky navigating, WIFI dropouts, unwanted messages. Difficult to tune - locked tight and adjustments hidden. I have bought many computers in my time and this is as unhappy as I have ever been - and As much as loved my past Samsung products, this isn't one of them.
