Summary: I purchased this laptop as an "administrative" laptop for use in my small business. About three weeks after I bought it the touch pad stopped working. I initially uninstalled the driver in hopes that the system would detect it again, but unfortunately that did not work. After attempting to perform several other fixes, I finally managed to get the touch pad to work again after about a week.
Hard drive went out after two weeks and SAMSUNG would not let me return the computer

Summary: I bought this computer for my daughter who was starting to school to become a Physician Assistant. She used the computer for taking notes and homework assignments. After only two weeks of use, the hard drive went out in the machine and she lost all of her notes and assignments. Samsung would not allow me to return the computer for exchange. I have to send it to a repair place in NJ and wait two weeks for it to be returned. Meanwhile my daughter has no computer to use.
Summary: I bought this laptop through Bestbuy. This Samsung product is terrible. It's been re-imaged 2 times. Now I have a message that my hard drive is failing. Never again on a Samsung product (Bestbuy never again too). This laptop doesn't deserve one star. I ended up buying a Mac from Amazon - TOTALLY HAPPY.
Summary: Bought this laptop as I liked Samsung products and specs suited my needs, with plans to install Win 7 on it. But I can't seem to do it. This thing has so many security and recovery things on it I can't boot from my external DVD drive. In a nutshell, if you like what apple and the icommunity does, go buy one. I bought this laptop because I don't like what i does, did not want, was a PC loyalist, and now guess what?
Summary: - I bought this laptop on my last visit to USA and it turned out to be a complete waste of money. I hardly used it for a week before it stopped working completely. Would prefer buying MAC or Toshiba from my next purchase. Also, would highly recommend Amazon over Bestbuy - Technical issues with the laptop * Serious problem with the screen, it started fluctuating but you had to restart your system again. This went on to restarting your system every ten minutes.
