Summary: light slim however not good for people that are clumsy or rough easily gets scratched and banged up. I cracked my screen by accidentally placing headphones on keyboard and closed screen. To repair it was very expensive almost 400 dollars. Before this I had an macbook and it was very sturdy. However I do love how light and slick it looks. Also very fast to boot up.
Summary: The laptop in itself is amazing. Slick design, super fast, stable. However, Samsung doesn't pay much attention to Linux as an operating system and for a long time (until a person from the community fixed it), the battery life was horrible (about 2h). Finally, the audio quality of the mic is poor and people on video calls cannot hear what I say. The quality of the front camera is not very impressive.
Summary: First thing is first it's not a gaming or video editor machine. pros : ultra lightweight, goodlooking cons: bad wifi card, few usb port i got some problem on my display. it's got little pixel on center of display caused by deformation of its own body/when display is closed it directly touches keyboard/.
Should be a higher performance laptop, but it's not.

Summary: This is my first ultrabook and my first no-HDD laptop so I don't have references to compare with. The laptop works fine, starts very fast, but does not perform as fast as I expected for a new top line product. Perhaps this is how solid state units behave, but my Outlook feels as "heavy" as it felt in my previous 5-year old Toshiba with 7200 rpm HDD. Maybe my e-mail folders are simply too big.
Summary: I have had this laptop for over a year and use it for browsing and running office apps. The startup time is super quick. I can boot the laptop up in less than 8 seconds. This laptop has 128GB SSD storage (the infamous Sandisk U100). The SSD is the slowest hard drive for writing. Reading data from SSD is fast but writing can be as slow as 5MB/s. Seriously 5MB/s is slower than some of 5 year old flash memory cards.
Summary: Nice ultrabook, well made, screen is great -- I did have an issue with the touch-pad, it creaked every time I right clicked. It is an assembly defect -- the pad was not fitted/tested properly -- the right edge catches the side of the palm rest. Very annoying since I expect more of Samsung in respect to quality control. Win 8.1 upgrade didn't help any, now USB 3.0 only works if you reboot the computer every time for it to recognize whatever is plugged in.
Summary: WiFi connection is difficult at best. It does not hold for long periods sometimes and computer has to be fairly near the box for service. Key pad is very sensitive causing screen action to jump easily. There does not seem to be any way to change the sensitivity. Computer does operate quickly otherwise. Windows 8 takes a little geting use to but otherwise works well. probably would not have purchased if I had realized these problems existed.
