Highly defective product with no warranty coverage

Summary: This computer never worked right and Samsung will not fix it because they say the problem it has is not covered under warranty. However, it was defective from the day I received it. So I am out $825 and all I have is a non-working computer. I will never buy anything by Samsung again, ever. Plus, the UPS guy in Tucson said he has shipped more of this computer back to Samsung to be fixed than any other model.
Summary: The whole design of these kinds of devices assumes a connection to the internet - I don't store things on the SSD that I don't need to, because it's got limited space. But if I'm taking notes in Google Docs and the connection drops, I'm not able to type in the document anymore.
Pros: Everything you'd expect - size, weight, performance. [Of non-wifi components] Some of the trackpad gestures for Windows 8 features irked me, so I appreciated that you can turn them off.
Cons: The wifi connectivity suffers immensely - enough to completely ruin the entire experience. The wifi drops out and credentials must be re-entered or the adapter must be reset, and it happens VERY frequently. In streaming a 1-hour show I disconnected 11 times.
Summary: I got that laptop for business for 8 months. It look good and is small. The rest is all bad. It was slow to start since the beginning. Never was fast. Since a few months, it has been real slow. Now windows is telling me that the hard disk is about to fail. The worst part is that I placed a service request online at Samsung and there has been no answer for 5 days. I called and they say that they do not replace the hard disk.
Cons: Disk Drive is failing and Sasung does not care
Summary: The computer overall is ok, not great. The speed reboot is a very good feature and the weight of the computer is good. But their are so many cons, for example the hard drive is way too small, making the use of the 4gb ram useless and the mouse pad is horrible! IT get stuck or drags icons when you don't need it or it will start highlighting anything you read. They still need a lot of fixing and getting this machine better.
Summary: Worst purchase I made through Amazon. I would never expect in a million years that I would write this review/comment about the item I purchased through Amazon but UNFORTUNATELY I have to write it. I did purchase a Samsung laptop/ultrabook couple months ago through AMAZON and I'm not happy with tha purchase that I did, because Samsung Ultrabook battery life is not what it says in technical specifications of the ultrabook it only last maximum of 3 or 4 hours instead of 9...
Sexi Laptop but not reliable at all and worse display for this hi-end category
5 August 2013
Summary: Very Good looking machine and very light. Got this laptop 4 months ago; my first experience with samsung laptop and for a hi-end machine i thought they would use a more reliable components. - a keyboard key had a problem so I got a new\uFEFF laptop replaced from the shop. The second machine (which I have now) have lot of problems: - two dead pixels on my screen.
Summary: I bought this Samsung 900X3C-A04US ultrabook back in November and found typing extremely difficult as letters and words jumped all over the page and ended up in the middle of other sentences and even other paragraphs. I downloaded and installed Samsung's firmware keypad fix to no avail, so I sent it back to them for repair. They replaced the keyboard but that did not help at all, so I sent it back a second time, explaining the problem in detail.
Summary: Purchased this laptop in December. Good news is it is thin and lightweight. Bad news is it doesn't work very well. Touchpad cursor continually freezes requiring forced shutdown and restart to unfreeze. Support Center has remotely reinstalled touchpad driver numerous times to no lasting improvement. Customer support suggests complete removal and re-install of Windows 8, which completely wipes out hard drive contents "to see whether that might fix the problem".
