Summary: I bought this product a little more than a year ago. In the beginning, it was great! However, after using this computer for 6 months, the keyboard started malfunctioning. Thank goodness I purchased warranty with this product. Another 6 months after getting my keys fixed, which I had to spend my own fortune to safely ship, my mouse pad started to malfunction and the pad itself is coming off of the computer; left lower corner of the pad is lifting up.

Summary: The touchpad ruins this slick, beautiful machine. One of the most frustrating computing experiences I've had in 25+ years. I returned it for a refund, which the seller Fatech graciously granted. No way I could live with this finnicky touchpad. Wound up with a heavier Dell (but only 8 oz more) and it's nirvana. I've never had to return a computer until now. Maybe Samsung should give up trying to penetrate the laptop market.

Summary: light slim however not good for people that are clumsy or rough easily gets scratched and banged up. I cracked my screen by accidentally placing headphones on keyboard and closed screen. To repair it was very expensive almost 400 dollars. Before this I had an macbook and it was very sturdy. However I do love how light and slick it looks. Also very fast to boot up.
Summary: This ultraportable laptop is the best you can get, for a reasonable price. It is not touchscreen, so its weight is excellent. It does come with Windows 8, though, which means you've got to spend some time updating it to 8.1 and making it work the way you like. I admit it took me a couple of days to get it to the state I wished, but after that, it has been working perfectly (it's been 4 months now).

Summary: the hinges always break. It's a manufacturers defect and they will not refund you if it happens after the warranty so getting extended warranty or just buy a different laptop I highly recommend you do not get this computer.
