Getting the most for your buck with this dual core pc!
15 August 2013
Summary: Nice laptop for a decent price. Looked around for sommat similar to this but most dual core pc's run around the $380-450 price mark or higher. Make sure everything is installed and then you do a full restart. Until it restarts a few times it wont work as speedy as possible. You have to download the synaptics for the mouse to have zooming/scrolling functions, or at least I did. THe computer itself is metal so its not some flimsy plastic.
Summary: The computer itself looks nice and works OK. It is slow as hell though. The video card cannot even play YouTube videos in High Def without lagging. I would spend a little more and buy a better quality notebook.
Summary: I read the reviews before I brought this laptop, and they were right about a lot of the items on this laptop. At first I thought I would not like window's 8, but I just love it, it's very easy window application, and it's nice that you can go back and forth to any application that you have opened.
Summary: My girlfriends old laptop was to slow for our long distance chats. So I sent this laptop to her as a surprise gift. I have never actually seen the laptop. But she says she loves it and its lightning fast with windows 8 installed. Great gift. great PC.
Summary: Spend your money better. This item tries to to be an APP driven device. So it ends up doing anything really really slow. Even just internet is a pack a lunch ordeal. I highly resent the fact that I purchased an item that comes already burdened with advertisements. I would only recommend this item to people I dislike a lot.
Summary: Obviously you can spend more for a machine but this is a great machine. It seems to run a little slow but that might just involve some tweaking yet. No complaints though after the first few months.
Summary: It is taking us a bit of time to get used to the new Windows format; however, the machine is pretty quick. I'm not a techie, so specifics, i can't give. I got this computer primarily because my daughter loves to create animated videos with Windows Movie Maker while listening to a constant stream of music from Youtube and chatting with friends on Facebook. Works well for that.
