Review Samsung 300V3A-S02DE Notebook

Notebookcheck
7 December 2011
  • Summary: Monster Subnotebook. Who exactly needs 17 millimeter thin Ultrabooks? Samsung piles on a bit of plastic, and replaces the Low Voltage Processor with a standard Core i5. A two-kilo-book for mobile ruffians?
  • Pros: Pleasant surfaces, Keyboard with good feedback, Good application performance, Entry-level gaming performance, Battery life, Silent mode: Lowest system noise, Very quiet hard drive, Low power consumption, What we'd like  to see Just an SSD, then the 300V3A would hardly make a sound in silent mode most of the time.
  • Cons: Low contrast TFT, Case partially bendable, No USB 3.0
