The CF-18 is the perfect outdoor rugged laptop to follow the CFM-34 MK7.

Summary: I've owned a lot of Toughbooks, my fav before was the CFM-34 MK7 because of it's small size. This CF-18 is not that much bigger and has many of the same attibutes PLUS more. The Tablet version is fun for it's exactness in drawing, but not as useful to me. I found the touchscreen version to be more useful in the field using mapping software. Sunlight readable like the CFM34, but 2" more screen helps. It's small but not too small.
Summary: I gave this one star because the computer really is tough...but the warranty has been a nightmare. In the 1950s the axle fell off of a Chevy truck, just out of the lot. > The dealer claimed that he had no responsibility to repair the car--he > merely sold the cars...the new owner would have to talk with > Chevrolet...
Summary: I am using this computer for a project our company is working on. We are writting software to be used on this PC out in the field. So far this seems like like pretty nice laptop. Like advertised this is a VERY sturdy notebook. We have dropped this thing from a table and it still works like a charm. The overall look of this PC is very rugged looking as well. I like the rough silver coverering, this thing is built like a tank.

Summary: Wir nutzen das Toughbook für unsere Smart Home Installationen. Es ist funktionell und sehr robust. Wir mussten jetzt kurzfristig für Ersatz sorgen und das gebrauchte Gerät steht in der Funktion dem alten in nichts nach. Sehr zu empfehlen!
