  • Summary: They sent me a CF-29N that was defective. The touchscreen didn't work. So they clearly didn't test it out before sending it. They were quick to send a replacement, however. The touchscreen on the replacement worked but it didn't have the same size screen, an SD card slot, or a DVD drive. The replacement was a CF-29E. I wasn't sure which one to send back. I sent back the replacement with the working touchscreen. It will cost me about $300 to get the digitizer replacement.

  • Summary: this is a really kool product. it does come in a used condition as is expected. everything it comes with works wonderfully. The only thing I didn't know is that there is NO SD or PC card slots or they have been removed. Unless you know where to look they can be troublesome to replace. Still lookin for but other than that I good buy.

Inexpensive, but not new

  • Summary: It is a CF-29H model. Do not expect this unit to look new, although it is refurbished. It most likely came off of lease recently. Mine arrived with the CD drive not working as other users had also complained. In addition, the space bar sticks and the plastic on the touchpad is all worn off. However, my battery seems to hold a charge. Also, the 512 RAM doesn't cut it. I ordered the 1GB upgrade for $42 as soon as I got it.
