Packard Bell EasyNote BG45-U-300

14 November 2008
  • Excerpt: The BG45 is small and light enough to be an ultraportable, but lacks the performance and features associated with that category. Then again, it also lacks the price. That might put you in mind of 'netbooks' such as the Asus Eee PC, but while their tiny processors struggle along with Windows XP or Linux, the EasyNote runs Windows Vista - albeit the slightly cut-down Home Basic version, without the fancy effects and Media Center. Build quality is pure class.
