The MSI X-Slim X410 is a notebook that supports Genuine Windows Vista® Premium operating system and is powered by an AMD Athlon Neo Processor on a RS690E + SB600. It features a 14“ HD LCD display with 1366 x 768 resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio and is powered by ATI Radeon® X1250 Graphics with share video memory. A 2 GB DDR2 800 MHz memory powers this unit (upgradeable to 4 GB) via one SO-DIMM slot. Other features on the MSI X-Slim X410 includes a 1.3 M Webcam, 10/100/1000 GB LAN, optional Bluetooth®, 802.11 b/g/n WLAN and the following input and output: one HDMI port, 2 in 1 (support SD/SDHC/MMC), microphone-in and headphone-out, two USB 2.0, one RJ45 and one D-Sub. The MSI X-Slim X410 also supports a 2.5” 320/500 GB SATA hard disk drive, external DVD Super-Multi / Blu-Ray (optional) optical drive and is powered by either a 4 or 8 cell battery. It measures 349 x 234 x 24.5 mm and weighs 1.5 kg with battery.

The X-Slim is a 14“ ultra thin notebook that is powered by AMD's 2nd Generation Ultrathin Platform that supports 1080i high resolution. Supporting AMD's PowerNow! ™ technology, the MSI X-Slim X410 is an eco-friendly unit with reduced battery consumption and lower voltage requirements. This provides users with longer usage tie, with a power consumption of 15 W which is 40% of the power of common notebook processors. AMD's PowerNow! ™ technology also allows the system to run different applications based on their specific power requirements by automatically adjusting CPU speed and voltage. When matched with MSI's ECO technology, users have the freedom to choose from 5 different power management modes: Gaming, Cinema, Presentation, Document, and Turbo Battery. The X410 uses the ATI Radeon ® X1250 graphic card, and provides users with a visual output via a 16:9 aspect ratio LED backlit display with 220 cd/m2 brightness. Internal HDMI video and audio terminals provide 5 GB of image transfer bandwidth. When paired with an external Blu-Ray disc player, users can experience life-like and crisp cinema images on a large screen television. The X410 is also fitted with built-in 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi ® WLAN and Bluetooth wireless connectivity functions, and comes with a complete entertainment applications interface, including a card reader (supports SD/MMC) to transfer digital information to the notebook.
