Summary: My netbook arrived ahead of time right as I was on my way to work. Everything worked!! I LOVE the retractable usb mouse (it also has the dodgers logo on it). Runs on windows 7 starter. This netbook shouldnt be used by someone with big hands and doesnt like small screens. It gets the job done for me.....battery is a little bulky on the bottom in the back, but it helps the netbook sit at a great angle.
Summary: Very good laptop, exceeds expectations. Very quick laptop with decent hard drive space, decent amount of ram, just great all around. Only downside is the "plastic" feel of it. Other then that, great with a nice design on front.
Summary: I was misled i was told that it had a cd drive but it doesnt and its kind of slow and the screen resolution doesnt allow for websites that require a higher resolution that you dont see the whole screen and its kind of slow loading pages. if i had to buy a laptop today i wouldnt buy this one again.
Excerpt: I don’t know why the OS of my MSI netbook is Windows XP when I knew that most of U135DX are pre-installed with Windows 7 starter. But what irked me is that the Microsoft Office is only on a 60 day trial period. That means I need to spend another amount to purchase a license after the trial period expires. Another disappointment I have for the netbook is its battery life. After running the netbook for 1hour 52 mins, it ran out of juice.
Summary: I almost jumped on the Asus bandwagon...until MSI came out with this netbook. The U135 is basically an improved version of the MSI wind 100 series. Chicklet style keyboard, bigger touchpad, and a 250gb hard drive. It comes with 1gb of intergrated ram and an extra slot if you want to upgrade (I used 1gb crucial memory; just need to unscrew the entire bottom panel...wont void the warrenty either) This is my first netbook purchase and I am extremely pleased.
Summary: I purchased a U120 for myself but my wife took it over. I purchased a U135 as a replacement. My only disappointment was the reflective screen. I upgraded Windows 7 to the Pro level without problem. Battery life is good!. The only issue is that my Yahoo email server complains that it needs 1024 x 768 resolution for optimum performance, but I see no problems with this.
Summary: Everything works perfect, keyboard is comfortable, screen is very bright. The only thing I hate about the netbook itself is that the battery life is short. I can barely reach three hours on a single charge, lowest possible brightness and minimal browsing usage. I don't know if it's just mine but that's about it. Other than that I really recommend this netbook.
Summary: I bought this for my girlfriend who takes lots of notes as part of her job and needs to be mobile. Its a well made piece of hardware, that looks good and as a gift does the trick. The built in camera and general layout of features is well planned and executed. This netbook does not cope well at all with multimedia.
