Summary: I am very pleased with my purchase. Starting out it is an excellent value for the hardware. You're not going to find the Bluetooth, 17 inch screen, i7-720QM and Radeon HD5870 for the price. The technical support is great. They even have their phone number on the bottom of the laptop. The pros, overall laptop has an excellent design with a rugged build that's not a fingerprint magnet. It's about a pound lighter than other laptops in its class.
Summary: So far, so good with the laptop. I can run Crysis on Ultra textures, objects, and water, High everything else, with 4 x AA, and 1680 x 1050 res, with no frame rate problems. I could probably run higher settings, but haven't tried. Starts up fast. Not cluttered with junk. Only thing I haven't loved so far are the speakers, and who expects good speakers on a laptop.
Summary: This MSI computer is great for anything, it has a ggreat CPU and great graphics chip. The only thing that I want to upgrade is the ram to 8GB but that can hold off for a little bit. Be sure to install the wireless drivers from MSI web site. Sometime the drivers built into windows will cause it to blue screen if you moving a lot of data back and forth at once (I have fios). The screen is great quality, and this computer runs crysis very well.
Summary: Basically this is the laptop to get if you need power in this price range, its far cheaper than comparable laptops by other brands. Haven't had any heat issues, or freezing. Build quality is good. This could be considered a desktop replacement. The only thing it doesn't have is USB 3.0 but who really cares anyways, its got an eSATA port. I'm very happy with it, it also smells very good!
