Summary: It's great, the gx60 is known for its top of the line gpu but its very lacking cpu. But in all honesty it hasnt let me down been playing games on high and ultra settings and hitting frames per sec between 40 and 90. Of course there is always fram drops everyonce in awhile but thats normal for me. Great starting gaming laptop! Im positive when the gx60 kicks the bucket ill be ordering one of msi's othrr products.
Summary: I am partial toward AMDs because of the quality/price ratio. If one shops for a comparable Intel laptop, he/she can expect to pay almost twice the price, and I have no problems playing Skyrim or Splinter Cell Blacklist. I like the touch buttons on the left and right of the power button (the fan button particularly). If one has a mouse, the touch pad automatically disables which I really like.
Summary: Big step up from standard laptops. Will keep up with the most demanding games with an excellent graphics card, processor and screen. Well built and a great addition for all you gamers out there.
Summary: This laptop is a mixed bag. The GPU is amazingly fast and powerful, the CPU is kind of junk. A first gen mobile 1.73GHz i7 quadcore is about 2x faster than this CPU. But luckily most games rely on GPU these days so it does not hinder the gaming aspects of the machine. However, any CPU limited apps (encoding for example) will be noticeably slower. The build quality is solid, feels well built. But there are several design flaws I don't care for.
