Summary: Let me just say i looked for at least 2 months before making the decision to buy this computer. Specs , price , reviews all over the place the whole 9 and finally made my mind on the MSI Laptop. Im not in the states so i had it shipped to a friend who in turn shipped it to me pretty much in the other side of the world needless to say to return the product was never in my mind and in this case was never an option.
Summary: Only took a week and this 'gaming' notebook is going back. And shame on me for still not learning, more typically equals less. PRICE & COMPONENTS Comparing the price of this MSI GT70 with a slightly less equipped ASUS G750JX-DB71 17.3-Inch Laptop (Black) Both have Intel processors with the slight edge to the MSI - Intel Core i7 4700MQ vs 4700HQ (better) / +1 MSI Both have a great amount of RAM - 12GB vs 16GB (overkill but more RAM can never hurt) / +1 ASUS Both have good...
Summary: The price is decent for the specs, but technical support doesn't really help you. I have had this for about 7-8 months, and the wireless is starting to give me problems. When I call tech support, they tell me to reinstall the wireless drivers and if that doesn't work, to reinstall windows.
Summary: Arrived with the w, s, x, e, d, c, r, 3, and 4 keys not working unless you supply 10 lbs of force. Also, counted nearly a dozen dead pixels. Make sure you set up a light colored background upon setup and check for black, dead spots.
Summary: I bought this laptop to be my mobile gaming device as I travel often for work. The specs speak for themselves. When running properly, the thing is a beast. Except it rarely runs properly. I have been plauged with issue after issue since purchasing this laptop. The first major concern is that I cannot seem to update the GPU driver with officially released (non-beta) Nvidia Geforce drivers.

Summary: Couldnt of been happier when I first received the computer, everything worked great as it should. The performance is what you would expect from a $1g+ computer. Apparently MSI computers are known for having hardware issues which I was not aware of. Yesterday morning I go to turn on my laptop and get no response, all that happens if the Power button blinks. I tried all the methods they say for fixing it and nothing worked.
