Summary: Amazing laptop! came brand new and on time. very powerful specs! runs all the new games at amazing frame rates. the fan a little bit loud but understandable with the heat it produces in a 15.6" box. would buy it again in a heartbeat.
Summary: Great keyboard. Screen is super clear, but some programs use a text-blurring effect that I don't like. It's pretty quiet fan-wise, probably because it's so big. Not much bloatware, but I did turn off all of the MSI programs besides the keyboard configuring one. Startisback is a must for Windows 8, of course. Turbo Fan button is a nice option to have, for video encoding and other heavty tasks where the extra noise is no issue.
Summary: So far I've had a great experience with this computer (just a week, but already put about 40 hours of use into it). I got it refurbished to save some money and it is like new, except for the shortened warranty. I'm having more issues with the interface of Windows 8 than I am with the computer even though there is a small amount of bloatware to clean out.
Summary: I am writing this review from this very product. I am engineering student and my old laptop was a hand-me-down that just wasn't cutting it any longer. I knew I would need a computer that could easily handle 3D modeling projects, and gaming laptops are some of the most powerful on the market. I also game, so it was obvious what was to be done.
Summary: Very fast laptop for all your needs in the gaming and entertainment industry. It runs audio software like Pro Tools 10 & 11 flawlessly for video post production. So far I can run any game on ultra settings. The fan is loud but not a big deal if you use large speakers. Do not waste your money and embarrass yourself by installing Windows 7. UEFI bios is faster than Legacy bios so keep Windows 8.1 and beyond installed on this laptop.
