Summary: ok... i like this laptop... or maybe i should just say i like having a i7 paired with a gtx 770m. i wasn't so sure about this laptop at first, my first choice was the clevo151sm, but black Friday/cyber Monday offered me a better deal with this MSI GT60. the only thing was it came to me defective. there was something apparently wrong with the drivers, it would freeze and crash after start up and sometime the keys and mouse wouldn't work.
Cons: its a little pricey but you get what u pay for. I don't know why everyone is complaining about the track pad, its a gaming laptop and im using a mouse. windows 8 is very, very different from 7. not a fan of it but im starting to understand it now. wish it came with win 7 thou :(
Summary: I love this computer, it boots amazingly fast and the keyboard lighting effects are amazing, you get to design it whichever way you want, it even bounces to the beat of music playing! so amazing. lots of space on this computer. I've been using it for 3 months now and I have t say its all perfect no crashes nothing.
Wonderful machine. Both GPU and CPU are plenty powerful. Would recommend to anyone.

Summary: One possible deal breaker is that in order to get at ANY, I repeat *ANY* of the upgradable components, you MUST void the warranty. No compartments, no nothing. The entire bottom shell needs to come off to get at anything. The exception is the DVD drive which just pops out.
Pros: Where do I begin? I got this laptop for school (and gaming) and wanted the extra power. I am a computer science major, so I do make use of the i7. This thing runs like a champ and I couldn't be happier with it.
Cons: Definitely no deal breakers here, or egg breakers. At least not for me.
Summary: Excellent computer! This is my first week of usage and I have had no problems whatsoever. I've thrown pretty much all the latest games to it in ultra settings, including Tomb Raider with TressFX and there have been no frame rate drops. Really quiet during normal tasks, you will start feeling the fans when the heavy graphic games kick in, but I consider that understandable.
Summary: I have the previous version of this laptop and it is pretty great, except that when the keyboard started acting up (My [Esc] key was saying it was pressed intermittently). I contacted MSI who told me to send the laptop back to them and they would fix in it 15-25 days. If this is your sole computer (As is my case), this warranty is completely worthless. If not having your computer for nearly a month is okay, then this is a really good deal.
Summary: Amazon = incredible MSI = insufficient As great as Amazon's customer service is, MSI's thoroughness is that weak. We went through two of these models before abandoning them for an ASUS. The specs are great, but MSI's inability to insure functionality in software compatibility makes the unit's potential greatness irrelevant. This was my first experience with MSI.
