Summary: Overall this is a great laptop. If you are looking at it, it is most likely because it's the only gaming laptop under $1000. My old laptop was a ASUS ROG G75VW. The motherboard went out after only 2 years and I didn't have a warranty($600 to replace). A new one starts at $1300 and I didn't want to spend that much. After researching I settled on this one. Here are my thoughts on it after a week of use. Pros: The display is amazing.
Summary: First of all let me say that the delivery time was VERY fast. I had no issue at all with registering. While I Will be mainly using this for school I did test it out on a couple of games and it ran them both flawlessly on ultra settings, ie; Skyrim and SecondLife (ran both for over an hour each and the system barely warmed). The screen has very nice color and brightness and the keyboard feels natural. At this point I am thrilled my purchase.
Summary: I am extremely pleased with this laptop! I can run most games on ultra-high graphics with no lag at all. The big screen is a definite plus, and I love that it's glare-free. I've been using it for just over a month and have had no issues whatsoever. My last laptop was an Alienware, and I have to say that for the price, the MSI is a MUCH better value.

Summary: I wouldn't buy anything from this company. Their follow-up service is almost non-existent, were it not for rudeness. I bought an MSI router brand new and the thing stopped working after 2 months. They refused to help me find a way to update the firmware. Based in Taiwan, I guess they don't care what happens after they've gotten your money. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!
Summary: I am really happy with this machine. Performance, display, and graphics are all really good. The computer does not run hot with the few games I play and is pretty quiet. I only had a couple issues. At first, some of the quick start buttons were iffy (the wifi/display off/gaming center), but after doing windows update and restarting, they all work fine. The only complaint I have is that I am not a fan of the trackpad, but it seems to be a problem on a lot of computers.
