Would be Perfect SteamOS Debian GNU/Linux machine, but stuck with windows instead
Shannon VanWagner, Amazon

Summary: This is a wonderful laptop but it doesn't come with the option of pre-loading GNU/Linux. You're basically going to get stuck paying for windows if you buy this laptop. Checkout Linux pre-loaded at system76.com, zotac.com, eightvirtues.com and others instead.
Summary: Had this a little less than three months and the fan is making severely loud noise in side and gets worse by the day. Going to have to return it. That's a lot of work to deinstall and reinstall.
Summary: I have had this computer for around 3 or 4 months. MSI has been known for their gaming computers. I was looking forward to a quiet and powerful computer. After I had this computer for around 2 months “was fully moved in with all my files on the computer.
Black Screen and Glitches on what would be a good computer

Summary: I would give it five stars if it weren't for one very irritating and worrisome issue. The screen glitches and even goes black. This will go away if I shut the computer and open it back up, but it will start doing it again.
Summary: As basic as I can be here - the layout of the keyboard drives me nuts. I thought I could deal with it but the delete key is in a way wrong place. It's over the forward slash key on the number pad. The arrow keys are incorrectly placed. Also drives me nuts.
Summary: Seemed like a good computer for the first week. Then it wouldn't let you download anything from the internet. When we called the company they suggested wiping the computer. Why should you have to lose your stuff after only having it for a week.
Windows 8.1 negates all the good featuresabout this laptop

Summary: I ordered this on Saturday. It arrived on Monday. Extra shipping cost was $6! Great service by XoticPC. But the wireless connection on this device is AWFUL! I don't know if it's the card or the software. I am replacing a MacBook Pro because Mavericks software completely ruined Mail.
Summary: This laptop was supposed to be my long overdue replacement for a really old Sony, and at first it seemed to be perfect. It's a little on the heavy side for its size, but it ran quietly and incredibly well and I was really enjoying it for the first month.
Summary: It was powerful, but it felt a bit cheap. My thought of it being cheap was further reinforced when I had to restore the laptop to factory settings on the second day of owning it. Lastly, it struggled to connect to my WiFi.
