Summary: It is a large but manageable laptop. I purchased this thinking it would replace my lenovo y50-70 laptop. If you read reviews of the lenovo, you know it's a decent gaming laptop with a slow hd and a terrible screen. Well the MSI has a much better 1080p screen. Its not IPS but I believe it's a similar tech from samsung. I had no issues with color, washed out brightness or poor viewing angles.
Summary: Fast, Sophisticated and out of this world specs. Even in the most highest performance and resolution of games that are out there. Though i dont recommend using the Nvidia Experience as it optimize your video settings turning your computer to heat up fast and the fan sound is noticeable.
Summary: Wow, talk about power. Don't even know what to do with this brute machine. But glad I have the options for anything once I figure it out. Been amazing so far, haven't gamed yet on it though. Very small amount of bloat ware, was surprised, was expecting to go to town on it. The registration process in order to get the 1 year warranty is messed up online, called customer service and was walking through the process I've tried 10 times already and it failed and she hung up...
Summary: This laptop so far has been great. I bought it for school, gaming and digital artwork(Photoshop and whatnot). It's not totally silent, but it's not really loud either. The only time the fan runs a lot is during gaming as it does heat up quickly, but I assume that's normal for a laptop when gaming. I plan to buy a cooling pad so it doesn't die. I haven't tested how it well plays many games yet.
Summary: There's quite a few things I can say about this laptop as I've owned it for awhile now. Pros: 1) This laptop is a beast of a machine and can handle anything you throw at it. 2) It's incredibly light weight making it easy for travel and perfect for going to a friends place to play games with them. 3) The audio is absolutely astonishing and you might as well be sitting in a movie theater. 4) The keyboard is nice and feels great to use Cons: 1) This thing runs HOT.
Summary: Its an amazing system for those who want a reasonably price gaming laptop. Outstanding video, especially through HDMI to my 27" monitor and its own LCD has a great picture as well. I haven't had any problems playing Civilization V or Empire/Shogun Total War on this system either, temps haven't gone over 80C on the CPU. Yet, I am a little worried about the current temp levels to add in any other more graphics intensive games to the system.
