Summary: I wouldn't buy anything from this company. Their follow-up service is almost non-existent, were it not for rudeness. I bought an MSI router brand new and the thing stopped working after 2 months. They refused to help me find a way to update the firmware. Based in Taiwan, I guess they don't care what happens after they've gotten your money. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!
Summary: DO NOT BUY!!! i bought this computer to replace an old gaming laptop. It worked fine for the first week, but now it refuses to open up my games. It does not open steam, origin, dawngate, nothing. it wont even give me an error message. I tried to re install but it refuses to open the installer. This laptop is only good for videos and it doesn't even do that properly. The screen resolution doesn't even go to true 780.
Summary: I am very disappointed in my purchase of this laptop. I purchased this for my son for a graduation present and for him to use when he goes to college in the fall. After 2 weeks of using it the hard drive died and we had to buy a new hard drive for it.
Summary: A warning to others .Just a couple of weeks after the 1 year guarantee expired on my CX61 the motherboard failed for no apparent reason .This has never happened to me before .I had it looked at by the university techs and they could offer no explanation .The 36 month guarantee offered by MSI on their range of motherboards ( see their website) apparently does not cover any of their motherboard units they fit to their own products !
