Great tablet for the price!!!

  • Summary: I have several of these for the line of work I do. It is a great tablet, battery lasts all day (intermittent use). The screen is not as bright as I would like, considering I am outdoors most of the time. However, it is fine once you find some shade. Use it mostly for research on the net (public records), so the processor speed is not important. It is in my car all day and the temperatures do get hot. No problem for this tablet, though. It is great product for the price.

  • Summary: Nice laptop, and it works great so far. I'm still new to drawing on the screen, sometimes it's difficult, but that may be only the learning curve.

  • Summary: This is a decent little business computer...AFTER I bought a charger that was pictured in my listing & new battery that had 5 mins of life- again on seller not computer. My OS was counterfeit & had tons of issues which would've reflected bad of the product, but I installed Ubuntu & everything works perfectly. No mystery hardware that needs extra drivers, etc. Also there must have been millions of these made, as batteries & chargers are CHEAP.

Guess you can teach an OLD DOG NEW TRICKS! :)

  • Summary: I have been searching for a good quality computer that was economical and even at about 5 years old, this machine is wonderful. My machine came with Windows 7 (which I just upgraded to Windows 8) also 4GB of RAM. I've worked on many newer computers and this thing flies even despite its age. The only thing I wished it had equipped is the optional touch version display, which would've made this thing exceptional for its age.

Lightweight and powerful the Lenovo X61 Tablet is a good laptop.

  • Excerpt: As a longtime IBM Thinkpad user, I was used to the "small red dot" for a mouse and hated the "touch pad" that most laptops boast these days. So when looking for a replacement computer, that was the first thing I looked for. In came the Lenovo Thinkpad. The smaller size, at 12ish inches, the lighter weight, the mouse I wanted and the tablet were all a plus. I was pleased when I opened the box and picked up the computer -- shocked in fact by the weight.

Not a lightweight tablet

  • Excerpt: Computer is good except it is very heavy, more than 4 pounds with the battery. To make the computer a fully functional station, you need the X6 UltraBase, which you can add optical drive and 4x USB ports, as well as other old fashion ports such as parallel port and serial port. Included stylus will disable finger or palm touch, which is good for taking notes. There is no touchpad for this model, only the next generation (X200t, X201t) has the touchpad.

  • Excerpt: I've got to be honest here - after owning 5 laptops, I've never owned any other brand of laptop. I love Thinkpads for the engineering, design (although Apple has everyone beat on that), the durability, and versatility. I've dropped these babies (just last week as a matter of fact), spilled liquids in them on plane rides, sat on them and they still keep ticking. The major problem with the line is the cost.

Lenovo Thinkpad x61

  • Excerpt: I have had this laptop for about 3 years now.  It has been a good laptop. I orginally purchased it when i started college.  I liked the concept of the tablet and being able to write with it.   I have used the laptop alot to take notes for classes that i am in.  It is also very light and portable. As far as graphics are. it is not that great.  It does not have an upgraded graphics card so trying to play some high intense graphics games can be a struggle.

it's a good product

  • Excerpt: The lenovo thinkpad x61 is an ultraportable business laptop geared to individuals who demand the best. Like its larger brothers of the ThinkPad line, it shares all of the same rugged features, as well as the creature comforts of a full-size keyboard. The X61 looks as if Lenovo took a thinkpad t60 and shrunk it down by 30 percent. Although it is much smaller than its counterparts, it is every bit as fast.
