Summary: SO there you have it!! I got a mini-laptop and not the true x61 with the swivel screen as depicted on the website and even worse that i got a DEAD Battery on top of my troubles. Oh well, I may as well go get a Samsung Galaxy Tablet 12.2" as I always wanted.
Pros: I would say that this would have been very good good my needs since I am looking for a tablet/laptop hybrid and this was VERY close to meeting my requirements.
Cons: Aaargh, I dont even know where to begin!! Well firstly when my pkg arrived and i looked at it I immediately scratched my head and wondered if i had ordered the wrong thing since the unit I got was a standard laptop screen and not the swivel screen I saw on the website. 1) Next I dutifully charged...
Summary: The positive reviews may be from Lenovo fans, or people who haven't experienced better laptops. This is a heavy, very slow PC (vista or not), the screen is horrendous. Lenovo drivers are a disaster, I also had to completely remove the Intel turbo cache due to constant blue screens.
Summary: Though I will admit it was partially my fault, I meant to order the lenovo x61 t which flips into a tablet. When I ordered it the netbook was not only disappointing because I couldn't use it for what I wanted but upon turning it on it would not start, it turns out it was sent to me without any...
Summary: Horrible, absolutely HORRIBLE!!! That's how I would describe my experience associated with my recent Lenovo X61 Tablet purchase. Don't buy one! I've had it almost 2 weeks and it's malfunctioned right out of the box.
Excerpt: had nothing but trouble with my Thinkpad, and have a very low opinion of the machine and of Lenovo's customer support. This was bought for me by my boss and cost a lot of money for what you get. I have personally bought much cheaper laptops that work a LOT better than this one.
Summary: The item was dispatched by very poor service. I had been waiting in my house for the delivery for two whole days but failed to receive any signal from the postman. I contacted the service center on telephone to ask the telephone of the postman but was told that it was unavailable.
