Summary: Inexpensive, very light less than 1.5 kg, durable magnesium body, not cheap plastic, hard drive protection in the fall, backlit keyboard and TrackPoint. Hard disk SATA 2.5 ', easy self-replacement components. A large number of accessories. Perfect laptop for the hard work out of the office.
Summary: The IBM Lenovo Thinkpad X60 is actually a tablet! The one dislike I have is that I'm not in "Just use Linux"! I had downloaded Linux Mint 14 and created a bootable usb drive and installed it on my tablet!! It runs amazing and it rocks!! I would make another purchase from the seller and provide him with an excellent reccomendtation!!
Lenovo ThinkPad X60 - lightweight and sturdy design
8 February 2013
Summary: Manufacturer: LENOVO, Product Name: 1706M8U, Version: ThinkPad X60 -- I like that it is not as heavy as my previous mobile computer. It also seems rather sturdy. I will have to get used to the Insert/Delete/Home/End/PgUp/PgDn keys at the top row of the keyboard. I tend to use those keys often and top row is not a very intuitive or comfortable place for me. The hardware seems very well-suited for GNU/Linux operating system.
Summary: I purchased this for an older laptop. The previous user had lost the original pen. We upgraded the laptop to Windows8 and I was thrilled to see that the stylus would work with it. The new owner (a widow who is also a school teacher) is so excited to have a table with Win8.
What a steal! Review for first-time Thinkpad users
M. Espinoza "MDE", Amazon

Summary: I got this on Amazon for $250.00. It's a ridiculously amazing deal. Mine came with the attachable dock/drive-- totally unexpected, and made me even happier with the bargain. I also got an extra 1gb of ram (total of 2gb). The computer is slick weighing in at about 3.5lbs. I feel like a secret agent carrying it around (I'm also a [multiple] Macbook Pro owner, so I love compact quality). The laptop is incredibly sturdy, as Thinkpads are expected to be.
