For most applications, the X60s does the job well at a great price.

  • Summary: Works very well. Light weight. I am learning that unless you're gaming, Core Duo processors work just fine. My wife wanted a light small laptop to use for work. The X60s meets all requirements at a great price.

Compatibility with Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2

U. Dhond "tech enthusiast", Amazon
13 June 2013
  • Summary: I'm curious if this pen would work with Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 with the eraser, pressure sensitivity, and palm rejection features. After reading comments by certain users about how Lenovo locks their pens to certain laptop models, I'm now concerned if this pen would work with my Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2. Given ThinkPad X60 as well as ThinkPad Tablet 2 are both Lenovo products, both based on Wacom technology, I'm hopeful this pen wrks with the TPT2.

A bit old, but still modern.

  • Summary: A powerful little machine, given the age. I upgraded mine to 3GB of RAM and I included a 320GB HDD with a docking station. Though it processes on a single core at 1.73Ghz, Windows 8 runs smoothly with an experience index of 2.9 points! :) I rate lenovo as a top brand and I always recommend it over others. And I would have probably given five stars if this was a dual core machine with a built in webcam.

Very reliable; solid; screen amazingly scratch proof.

  • Summary: I have been a fan of pen computing since 2002 when I bought a Apple Newton MessagePad. Text input using a pen seems so much more natural to me. My writing is tighter and more focused.
  • Pros: Quitessentially ThinkPad: solid and reliable. Clean, crisp and professional looking. The All Black of laptops. Touchscreen is amazingly scratch proof and nice to write on. Working more from a lounge chair or couch now.
  • Cons: It seems to run very hot with intense Wifi use such as streaming video. Its size and weight prevents it from being truly portable.

Works good

  • Summary: Comments about Lenovo ThinkPad X60 Tablet PC: I do a lot of graphic modelling. I use a drawing tablet to do most of my work while i travel. With this tablet pc, I find that I have more room to do what I need to do as you can basically fold the laptop back to the close position with the screen facing out. Plus, I'm by no means ambidextrous and this helps so I don't have to drop my drawing pen just to minimize a window or change my drawing tools.
  • Pros: Comfortable Keyboard
  • Cons: Short Battery Life, SLOW

The Lenovo X60 6364 The Good and the Bad

CoDuK, Ciao
1 April 2008
  • Excerpt: Personally, I have had a great experience with this laptop. I will start with the bad, which is only a few things, and then end with the good, which is LOADS of things. First of all, the looks, like all IBM ThinkPad's, it looks hideous, or that is what I think. It is black, and has this weird, dull material on the back, which makes it look very old, like a spectrum from 10 years ago.
  • Pros: Durable, Powerful, Good Tablet, Amazing battery life, Never overheats, quiet, expansion capabilities, small lightweight,
  • Cons: old looking, bad graphics card, no CD/DVD drive, bad speaker position

Hin und her geschickt ...

  • Pros: Klein, ausdauernd, unkapputtbar
  • Cons: Abwicklung UMTS - Vertrag
